I have a feeling we'll be getting the one that is waiting until next week.
The longer Ben Bradley waits to announce, the more I figure he ends up signing with Tennessee. It doesn't matter anyway, our coaches will just get 50% raises for not making a bowl.

New Rule: In order to impress football recruits with the atmosphere, winning traditions and the fun that can be had by attending Mizzou, all football recruits should be taken to basketball games instead of football games until further notice.

Are you hinting that they were not worthy?

Seems like we are losing momentum in the Ben Bradley hunt. Nebraska has come in and is recruiting him hard the past few days. He has been talking to their reporters, but Pete is trying to contact him. We will see what happens though. Decision on Friday.

Booo
We don't get him, we're definitely not getting Johnson, imo.
Bad feeling we're going to see a flip in strengths next year, defense will suck and offense will be pretty good.

Well one of these is absolutely on track of happening. For a hint at which one I am talking about, refer back to the Syracuse or TAMU game.

Defense sucked this year too. If it is worse next year, the damage might be too great to be undone.

Defense didn't really suck this year, if I remember it was in the top 25 most of the year. It got overworked and exposed because the offense couldn't stay on the field. Defense was a lot better than people give it credit for.
I don't really want to hear about the Tamu game. Team was dejected and played at that time the best team in the country. Just about everyone would have got lit up that night.

What time does Bradley announce?
Posted on 12/28/12 at 4:38 pm to Stripes314
There is a rumor on PM that Bradley couldnt get an Online Math Course cleared with Admissions, but he is good to go at Nebraska. Might even be an SEC thing with the math courses, just like with Marquel Combs. Just what a few posters are hearing.
That is the 2nd time we have gone after a kid who had courses that wouldnt be credited. How does our staff not know that this would happen in both situations? Even a Rivals analyst stated it was common knowledge with Combs, and all SEC schools had backed off months ago. I mean they had to have known something right? Just giving you the early heads up.

That's BS, unless they thought they could get it approved. If this is true, what a waste of time.
Here's hoping it's just a rumor.

Sounds like we're not getting him.
I would hope he didn't make his college choice based off the fact he'll get credit for one more class at another school. That would be pretty foolish. If he doesn't come here, I'd think he just didn't want to come here, one class shouldn't sway such a big decision.
And the staff did not waste their time even if that is why he isn't coming to Mizzou. To not recruit someone because he'll get one more class credited somewhere else would be extremely lame. Glad they pursued him hard.

If they thought they could get it approved then they would get a little more of a pass. If they didnt know at all then.....

Its more so he needs that class to have been considered by the school as finishing his Associates. JUCO players must get an Assoc. Degree before leaving CC. In Mizzou's eyes he has not finished his degree. In Nebraska's he has. That is the problem. Not if he wants to come to a schoo based on what they will give him. Mizzou Admissions is rejecting his application.

Makes sense. In that case, yeah, huge waste of time if they were aware of this.

I'm an idiot when it comes to breaking down what will transfer to what college as far as classes go.
But, why would it be good at Nebraska but not Mizzou? We were both in the same conference competing for the same recruits at one time. I don't understand why Mizzou wouldn't accept most of the same criteria.
Seems to me that Mizzou has cut off one of thier own hands as far as recruiting goes.

It either comes down to they outrecruited us, or he wasnt accepted into the school.

It appears that Bradley did not commit to the Nubs tonight. I was on their board and there were a few people mentioning that UK and Aub have contacted him also, but who knows if that is true. At this point it may be too late for him to get registered for a school in time for the school year. If that is the case then maybe he goes back and takes that extra math class. Who knows what will happen though. He isnt responding the the Nub reporters anymore either and its kind of starting to become a mess with him.

He's broke how many announcement deadlines now? Several I think. He's going to screw himself up and wind up like you said, registering too late.
I've almost kind of given up on recruits this time of year. It's a free for all right now and who knows where anyones really going? I don't think the recruits really know either.
I noticed all this noise about Bradley and Johnson were going to the same school has died down. I wonder if this is playing a role in his lack of an announcement.
