Meh, you can never tell. There is so much speculation on whats going on with Ramirez right now, no one really knows. I've heard everything from Mizzou broke it off to Ramirez broke it off to Ramirez hasn't taken a ACT test yet to he's following Boyd.....wich could be down hill. I don't think even Ramirez knows what he wants at this point.
Campos, If that coaching thing changes up there at ISU, we still may have a shot at him. I think it all hinges around that. But I figure he's further gone than Ramirez.

I have heard about that. What is the deal with his ACT and him wanting to follow Boyd?

I think there is more reason for him to decommit and look elsewhere because of the number of LB's that he will have to compete against at Mizzou. We have two more pretty good LB's comming in this class. To me that makes more sense than the ACT test deal or following Boyd. I'm sure the head coach probably has an idea of whats going on in his head. Maybe he'll be our ace in the hole with Ramirez. Don't know.
I'd like to see him play here. These guys like Campos and Boyd and Ramirez are to me throwing a great opportunity to the side. Not every HS player will be able to play in the SEC conference. That alone speaks for itself. They get a majority of the attention publicly. You want your name out there? Play in the SEC.
Those are just my feelings. Nothing factual.

Here's alittle good news. Just seen that 2014 5* SF Dwayne Morgan is taking an official visit next month to Mizzou. We're in his top six finals list.

To clarify, he's a basketball commit, looking at Mizzou because he's a Baltimore kid like Kimmie English.

Thank god for Kentucky. Even with the recent commits we are still 13/14 in the SEC. I thought we might catch Vandy or Arkansas or someone.
Is it realistic to think Mizzou can consistently recruit even a top 10 class in the SEC, much less a top half? I guess if we out recruit 4 out of Kentucky, Vandy, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Miss State that makes us top 10. Don't think we'll ever out recruit Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Tennessee, Texas A&M or even South Carolina. Is being in the bottom half something I better get used to?

Not until the stadium and all facility upgrades are complete and the SEC money is flowing into the system. Recruiting takes money, facilities, coaches and WINS to be successful.
If Mizzou has the right facilities in place, I can't see what keeps the school from equaling what South Carolina and Arkansas can produce.

Tampa DE Ernest Suttles was in CoMo this weekend. He's an Iowa St verbal.

I feel like we got some guys committed that are just taking up space, wish we have a few more open spots to work with here down the stretch.

Maybe Penton and J'Mon Moore

J'Mon more is really underrated. And this is coming from National Analysts. Texas A&M wanted to try to get in on him, but he is solid.
And as for Penton, I wouldnt say that either. Anytime the staff gives one of those spring offers that is a guy they REALLY want. That is the first pick schollys. Also he had a really good year at DB. He and Sherrills will be great back there for us. Those wouldnt be the two I would pick.

Ahh, that makes sense.
I wasn't thinking of Penton and Sherrills as Dbs.. I'm banning myself from recruiting thread for a few days.

Penton would be ok at receiver, but that isnt his future. He has even said that he wants to be an impact corner and he has the tools to be a good one. Thats why the staff wanted him so early.

5* Center Dakari Johnson now holds an offer from Mizzou! I saw somewhere on twitter last night that Mizzou is expected to visit him this weekend along with a few other teams but I cant find the twitter post now but heres his rivals page. LINK

JUCO DB Darren Doston will visit this weekend

I thought Dakari had listed his top 5,6 or whatever schools and Mizzou didnt make the cut.
Could be wrong. If he's coming for a visit, obviously that's huge.
