2 things
1) I have been a big Brady Cook fan since before he was a starter. You might have me confused for someone else.
2) I'm a big Cody fan and I hate the NFL. I said he would not get a fair shot in the NFL and that is on the NFL, not Cody. Cody is a modern Emmit Smith but the NFL doesn't care for those players anymore. I was right that he did not get drafted and that it will take injuries before he gets a fair shot even if he outperforms others in preseason. And my point was that the NFL sucks and I wish people would stop supporting the NFL until they change their ways.

No it isn't. Winning is all that matters.
I'll never understand why people aren't thrilled it looks like our Defense is improved this year over last year. We had plenty of room to improve and it looks like we have so far.

We were 11-2 last year.
If we lose more than 2 games, I guess our defense is worse than last year.

Guys, I think we got off track. The point of the post was that after LSU fan beat their chest about "stealing" our DC, that this was not a good look for them. Even if you dismiss us being first because of competition, there is no way in hell LSU should be last, especially when you have the highest paid DC.
I know things will change during the season, but it's not a good look right now. Stay focused guys, this isn't about arguing over stats, it's about tea bagging LSU fan LOL.
But I love how you guys are nitpicking just how good our defense is. Wasn't too long ago the argument would have been exactly what negative term describes the defense.

I have to be careful about going after the coonasses. That's part of what got me banned in 2020.

We don't get teams like this often enough and it's looking like
we can't take the thin air that being ranked 6th brings.
It's going to take time for the team to jell on O. Just like last year.

I had a spirited convo with some coonasses on the outdoor board about their deer hunting prowess. When I made a post about Kobe....beef.....shortly after the copter crash....I got banned by those crayon eating turds.

Oh I am enjoying it. I like a good argument and think its a bad take to say the defense wasn't very good. They were the 14th ranked defense in Bill Connolly's SP+ rankings after the bowl season. They were the 13th ranked offense and #10 overall. Bill's rankings certainly aren't cherry picked.
