The next OC needs to come from a different tree. The Chris Peterson offense doesn't work in the SEC when the talent levels are even. It didn't work with Harsin at Auburn and it hasn't worked the last two years under Moore. The running game coordination has been absolute shite this year. Running zone to boundary repeatedly vs the best SEC defenses has betrayed the backfield talent. The ran zero gap plays in the second half again and waited until there was 13 minutes left in the game to open up the passing offense. The line protection was solid as long as Beau kept his eyes downfield. They have to get a trigger man that can place the ball.

Gabe D spent yesterday afternoon on Twitter telling people to stop complaining out playcalling and questioning people's football acumen. I dont think hes watching the same game because play calling has killed this team vs the better defenses.

About 70% of Mizzou fans are so used to getting crumbs, that they can't imagine doing what's necessary to actually sit at the table. Gabe knows that's who he is catering to.

What's sad is Drink is wanting to break up with us and we don't realize we are the good looking, talented person in the relationship.

Its easier to say the oline isnt getting the job done than it is to look at play calling vs defensive alignment, down/distance, field position...all the stuff that actually determines the on field product. This is the 2nd year in a row that skill group has had a middling season yet rarely attacks weak side with the running game and vertical middle of the field in the passing game. Everyone is running some version of a 4-2-5 and those are your beaters vs the alignment. We run to the boundary and get horizontal in the pass game.......but there isnt a play calling problem
