That's the kinda moral victory even a Rebel would be jealous of.

I was impressed with the offense last night.

Russell definitely has grown so much since his last trip to Tiger Stadium. I was at that game and remember him having to go in after Relf went down. Our OL and WR had very good games. I'm ecstatic that our entire OL will be back next year.

OLine is doing a good job.

To be honest, I thought it would our biggest area of concern for the year, and I would have never thought our d line and safeties would struggle this bad.

I went into this season really pumped up about our DL and Secondary. They are a talented group but something isn't clicking and I don't know where that is stemming from.....

Right now they are having to pick up slack from our LB's, it looks good for the future but this year they are struggling.

I think the LBs are struggling because the Dline has been abysmal.

Denico looked a lot better last night, it's good to see improvement. I was saying LB's because of pass coverage, they are just young and that's why you see issues in coverage and communicating. D-Line has to step it up for sure but I'm on the opposite side of the fence from you, I think they look bad because of the LB's but either way they feed off of each other and somewhere it isn't getting done.

The fumble early was crucial. Take away that mistake, and score a TD at the end instead of the pick 6 and you have a 24-24 tied ballgame going into OT.

It was a very good exciting game, I hate that the score looks so bad b/c it was a good close game.

Offense played well enough to win, Oline did good. Just made 2 costly turnovers.

We need some changes on the defensive coaching staff. Our D is soft

We hung with LSU more than the score indicates. Overall, I am pleased after wanting to transfer colleges after the last two weeks.

frick that. We shouldn't lose to Mettenburger's bitch arse. We should have won that game, but unfortunately we haven't put a single game together yet this year. These fuggin coaches need to get their shite together.

Two plays cost us that game: Milton's brain fart fumble and the pathetic D on the pass play right before halftime. When we play LSU, we have to play perfect, and those two plays put us out of the game. The pick 6 at the end of the game sucked too, but if we had scored it just would've made it look closer.

We seriously need to be looking for a new defensive coordinator. Our D is not up to par and is worse than last year. It's starting to remind me of the 09 team. I say we buy out Ellis Johnson's contract at that dumpster fire of a program Southern Miss and bring him back.

I love Wilson. I really do. But it's apparent that he is in over his head at his current position.

It will be interesting to see what the offseason brings, I don't think we can cut Wilson loose right now.

Wilson has earned himself a little more time. He's still a young D-Cor. Just last year, our fans wanted to give him a huge raise. Typical of our fans to overreact. And do you really think we would pay USM 2.1 million just to hire Ellis Johnson? gtfo with that shite.

We can't fire Wilson until he brings in Chris "Nkemdiche Who?" Jones.

Wilson isn't going anywhere this year but he better figure out how to stop a spread offense before the egg bowl or we will get smoked. Freeze is going to own his arse.

Are you talking about the long pass play that set up the TD or the TD to Ware? Either way, I don't think either falls on Wilson's shoulders. The play that set up the TD was clearly a blown coverage by Nickoe. Nickoe has been exposed tremendously, and it's safe to say he's the worst coverage guy on the team. (The TD across the middle after Milton's fumble was thrown right by Nickoe's head after he overran the defender). The TD pass to Ware is not a Wilson either. Did you see the coverage, the pass and the catch? They were all three perfect. We had Matt Wells (our fastest LB) in man to man coverage with a RB out of the backfield. We have to match up man to man like that in those situations to try and get pressure on the QB because our DL is non existent. I think the terrible play on D falls on the lack of presence and pressure by our DL.

While Wilson takes most of the bashing ( and rightfully so ), I think it's a result of several weak links across the board, and it starts with our DL.

That wasn't Nickoe's man. We had a strong safety, a corner, and a strong side linebacker on that side of the field and either wells or Broomfield straight took the wrong man. There was confusion before the snap and it was very evident but in nickel that is the strong safety and strong side LB's job to cover. Nickoe fell back when he saw it and it looked like it was him but he was the underneath man there was no coverage in the receiver whatsoever.
