Here is the last second shot where FGCU was robbed.

They are sitting at 5-5 but they are a pretty solid team. This would be a nice win and would put us at 8-2 for the season.

We have been winning some close games against inferrior opponents but we haven't been showing improvement in 3pt shooting, FT shooting, and rebounding. Those 3 will kill us once we get into SEC play.

I am going out on a limb and predicting victory here.

Sort of depressing really to me because I was MUCH more hopeful that Ray would get this thing turned around after the end of last season than I am now through the first 8 games of this season. We have more bodies we can put on the floor now and Sword has improved greatly as an offensive player (though he still stinks from the FT line), however, I don't see much improvement anywhere else. In fact, players like Borchert and Thomas look like they have regressed.

Borchert is in a slump. He was shooting great early on.

Thomas

Has gained about 20 pounds of muscle. I'd assume alot of his problem is that.

The Over/Under for 3 pointers made is at 4

Marshall Henderson averages taking and making more 3's by himself than we do as a team.

The Tevin Moore kid may can provide some help off the bench. They said he's a JUCO transfer who was ineligible last semester.

We just got out rebounded by FAMU. I'm glad to get the win but we are going to get killed on the boards in SEC play.

Relax, Bundy. We looked pretty good when it mattered. Much better than Friday night.

You realize FAMU is a 2-8 team?
Flat top Fred continues to stay in his slump 2-11
At least we did shoot FTs better

We better come to play or FGCU will beat us.

What I realize is that this team has talent limitations. We weren't much in sync for the SELU game after exams. We looked much better last night. I don't need a stat sheet to tell me what I saw.

We were 3-6 after 9 games last year. We are 7-2 this year. Hooray for the cupcake schedule! This group needs some success.

FGSU will be a good challenge. We will just see things turn out tomorrow night.

Ray just needs to get one good recruit to buy into what he's doing, and I think he will be fine.

Bundy why are you so worried about it?

I say give Ray 2 years from now and the ship will have been righted.

I'm starting to feel like we're in a Croom situation and I RRRRRREEEEEEAAAAALLLLLLLYYYY hope that's not the case. We just gotta give our man Rick Ray time to recruit some ballers.

And who's fault is that??? Rick Ray

You dont constantly kick players off of your team if you know it kills your depth and hurts your team at a position that you HAVE to have depth at in SEC play.

I thought we've discussed this numerous times. It's out of the coaches' hands when the players fail numerous drug tests and/or other stuff that falls within university policy.
