I am expecting him to come to Starkville.
This is another level of mobile dual threat QB that also possesses the arm talent to be a pocket passer.
This guy could bring the next level of QB to Starkville.

I've watched his tape and he reminds me a lot of Matt Corral.
I also met his HC at a golf tournament earlier this summer and he raved about how mature the kid is for his age.

here's to hoping he comes to Starville because I think mobility works well with Leaches offense ... I hear Sawyer is more mobile than Will and it's gonna be interesting to see that play out ... I hope we end up with both guys but even so I would expect one of them to transfer out eventually (referring to S Robinson vs Parson - Will is the obvious starter for us next year I think) ... I have no idea which one is the greater talent but we have to get Parson here to find out

There is a scenario or even two where Rogers won't be our starting QB in 2023. It's a done deal for this year, he is the best Qb on the roster right now.
One - Rogers has a monster year and goes pro. The book on him has always been that he was a good college QB but lacking in NFL qualities. His game translates better than most think to the NFL and he may decide to take his shot if he gets a favorable draft grade.
Two - Sawyer Robertson or another QB passes him up in the spring. I don't think anyone denies that Sawyer has more upside but there is no substitute for experience in this offense.
Three - Injury - Sawyer gets thrown into the fire and by years end has upped his game to the next level

It'd be a pretty major development for a 2 1/2 year starter to get passed by someone in the spring that he was ahead of for 2 years. Think the only way Will isn't starting next year is if he goes pro early and I'm not sure he has the physical tools to take that chance.

I can’t think of a time a two year Leach starter simply got beat out.

He just committed to State! Huge huge get. He's got a bunch who are supposed to follow him wherever he chose to play. Recruiting is about to get fun!

I admit that’s the least likely way for him to lose the job but there are two other ways. Injury and monster year
