I like Brewster, but Koenning and Hevesy need to go. Losing Mix may have caused us to lose Alexander.

Our recruiting on Defense, RB, and WR are solid, but we have trouble with QB and OL and that is on those coaches imo, along with having a shitty offense.

Also, has Shump sent in his LOI? If not, when is he supposed to we really need him in this class.

Hevesy, Sallach, and Koenning need to GTFO.

Koenning couldn't even recruit his arse daughter to come to State.

Yeah, pretty sure Shump signed his LOI.

Hevesy arse is on fire after the Mix situation I'm assuming. I would love to see koenning get the boot and bring in a young Geoff Collins type character on offense.

Yeah...I really don't get how Koenning is around. There is no link with Mullen. Seems like he should get the boot.

Shumps is In and I don't think keonning is in the good graces of Mullen. I think Mullen should follow spurrier and call plays

Hevesy and Mullen are tight so I doubt anything happens with him. I hate we lost Mix, not because I think he will be a great player, but apparently he was a potentially good player (though I think he is soft) who really wanted to be at MSU and won't be because of Hevesy's antics. Now Koenning is as past his prime as Melvin Smith and what is causing Mullen to hold onto him is beyond me. Still can't believe he couldn't even secure an OV from O'Korn. That tells me there how poor his recruiting skills are.

Koenning is "looking" for another job right now. That much is a fact. This is how Mullen goes about getting rid of coaches. What does he do if he doesn't find one? I dunno... Because he's yet to flat out fire anyone, but I'd love to make Les the first. What did we honestly expect from a guy we stole from South Alabama before they even had a program?

Koenning has to be gone, as does Sallach.

Sallach visited with Shump -- talked to him for 30 minutes about how we were going to use him as a safety before saying "oh....wait....no, I'm thinking about someone else". Those of us that knew this were freaking the hell out thinking that he had just cost us Shump...

Hevesy won't be fired, but his arse is feeling the heat right now. Alot of talk that given the new rules(you can hire independent recruiters -- it doesn't have to be members of a coaching staff), he will be permanently off the recruiting trail. He won't be recruiting in MS anymore anyway...

Surely we can do better than Koennig. A lackluster offense as well as a less than stellar recruiter.

That won't matter. Recruits will still be in contact with him. At some point, they will cross paths, and I'm telling you that several guys have not gone to MSU due to him as a person!

He's an arse no doubt. Of course a lot of OL coaches seem to be that type. But heck I could even put up with that if I was seeing good progression with our OL play but I'm not.

Its amazing how much quicker Mullen is to pull the trigger on defensive coaches than offensive. I would pretty much equate the poorness of the Koenning and Torbush hires yet Torbush was shown the door after one year while Les is still the OC after 4 years.

Agreed 100%. If Les still has a job in year 5, he's about to be come Woody. Yea, I realize our offense is better than that -- but everyone else's is as well. I'm sick of being the #80 offense -- while we fire coaches for falling outside the top 30 in defense(and none of us have a problem with that, we just want the offensive staff's feet in the fire as well)...

I know 3 that would not go to MSU due to him personally.

Hevesy or Koenning? I assume you mean Hevesy.
