We really need an undefeated week this week starting with tonight vs Valpo. Lipscomb this weekend will give us a fight. I think they took 2/3 from Notre Dame earlier this season if I’m not mistaken

So my brother and every other State fan it seems is saying that Foxhall needs to be replaced. What’s going on there ?

Leading the country in walks given up (I dont know if that’s actually true, but we’ve gotta be damn near close), last years debacle, and really a complete lack of development for any of our pitchers since Bednar

We looked better against Valpo. Loftin pitched well
When does Pico Kohn come back? We need him badly
I am impressed with our bats and our fielding is getting better. Just gotta find 3 good weekend starters

Our last 4 games have had our starters last into at least the 6th inning. Would be huge if that carried into SEC play

This will probably be our easiest SEC series of the year. If we can’t take the next 2 we are in trouble. Dohm should have been in there to start the 8th last night.
Also, highfill has a better arm than Hancock and is a great stick to have in the lineup, but at this point he’s not close to dependable behind the plate. Seems like we give up 2+ past balls per game with him behind the plate, and lots of times it’s with runners on

Every couple of days I pull up my upcoming hotel reservation for Omaha and think about the good ole days. I’ll probably wait til June to cancel just to enjoy the memories a little longer.
