Talked to a close friend who coaches for west point. He has been adamant all year lashley was all dog until today. The kid has went silent and mia. Won't answer coaches calls. He is hearing its Bama and is melting.

If Hev manages to lose Lashley he is the worst recruiter of all time and needs to be fired.

I was told Cooks told one of the 24/7 mods it wasn't worth coming to tomorrow. FWIW

Croomdawggie probably knows more about it

Yours or ours? Paul/Robbie haven't posted that. On the other hand, not sure why we would give a damn what he told OM mods.

Just read it. Holy shite these golden triangle kids can eat the biggest bag of dicks.

Yours. I doubt he will post it on the message board.

Essentially they text Cooks asking if it was worth coming and didn't get a yes.

Hearing good things for MSU regarding Simmons but it's strictly from the MSU side.

I find it hard to believe you're hearing anything positive about anyone from the MSU side. Taking a skim of the message boards reveals that our pets heads are falling off.

Really wish they were all leaning OM, because I would think it was orchestrated. The fact that at least 3 of the 4 look to be Bama leans makes me think we are just about to get dumped on.

If we get Simmons & no one else I honestly don't know how I'll feel. His talent level could almost make up for the fact of losing AJ/Lashley/Jones/Knott. If we keep Simmons/Jones/Lashley I'd actually be ecstatic with this class. Our biggest game-losses the past couple of years have been because of deficiencies in the trenches I think.

If anything, Ole Miss fans should be. Both of his parents went to Ole Miss for Christ's sake

I just think the only thing he has going for him is speed.

He's got a good basic set of tools. I think it will take him 2-3 years to develop and perform at the expectations that come with a 4* level, so Bama could be a good fit for him in that he can do that with less pressure. That being said, is it better to develop through practice or under fire in games? I think it depends on the individual. If they are the type who can handle failure and grow from it, then trial by fire is the best way. If they aren't necessarily ready for that, then a couple of years to develop is best for them.

Just a side note, I do like what Fletcher Cox (reportedly) had to say yesterday though.

I don't facebook, so I got it off another board....that's why I said "reportedly".

Ok I'm done ...."
