Mullen and Hevesy went to his last game, which I think was a championship game? Things had been kinda shaky but from what I understand they didn't go with intentions of telling him to look around.
The kid got benched early in the game, and people in Auburn area are saying he hasn't been very good all year. I guess they were hoping that he would get better because he's been committed since his junior year, but it just didn't happen.

Exactly, getting benched by your HS coach isn't exactly a good sign. And if the kid hasn't improved and developed I would rather cut ties now. We've got enough dead weight on our OL now without adding more.

haven't seen it mentioned yet so passing this along.
John Broussard, 4* CB from Phx City AL...is uneasy following TRob and Muschamp leaving AU, per his HS coach.
We are the favorite for his HS teammate Jamal Couch (Former FSU commit)
So this bears watching..
ETA: It was tough for his to commit to AU over MSU in the summer (per his HS coach). Was set to enroll early

yea...he and Knott, if we could land both would immediately be our best two CBs on the roster. Heard the coaches rave about Smitherman as well.

Nah. Mullen will tell him "you come in and bust your arse and if you're the best corner then we'll start a shitty junior or senior that's been in our program over you."
