And Holmes has been taking snaps at linebacker since a little more than halfway through the season. To my knowledge he hasn't moved back to the offensive side of the ball.

ETA: I haven't seen anything that said they gave him a committable offer yet -- just that he will take the visit. Still seems like their clear cut backup plan on Sims.

Holmes played LB the last few games I don't see him playing more than special teams next year.

His offer isn't contingent on Sims. Sims is a guard, Rawlings is a tackle. We'd take both.

I think Simms to OM is a done deal. They want to add 1 more OL after him. They have a cpl guys before Rawlings (1 of them is a huge juco guy) but they know Rawlings is most likely. I think Rawlings goes to OM and good for him. Not many kids are fortunate enough to go play at the school they grew up loving.
ETA- Yancy say they could take 3 more OL. Leads me to believe Rawlings gets his offer & commits.
