Don't be surprised to see Petal WR Jesse Jackson to commit to us soon. He's 6'2" 195lbs had 850 yds receiving last year and 11tds

He would definitely lay a solid foundation for this class. We need him and Aeris Williams to commit soon.

Very good HS QB just a little undersized at 6' 185. May develop Into a Drew Brees type of QB

I was 5'10 as a soph and graduated at 6'1...

I've heard(not 100% sure) that Minshew's dad is 6'4 so it's probably a decent assumption that he'll continue growing...

A friend of mine saw Minshew at the Jr. day in Starkvill last weekend and said he is an even 6'

Im not saying the kid won't grow, but it would greatly help his recruitment if he he grows 2-3 inches in the next 2 years. I like having a tall QB. Dak and Cord are both in the 6'2"-6'3" range plus are both good runners. On the other hand Minshew is a pro style QB, even though he plays in the spread in HS he isnt a runner.

Aren't you the same poster that fricked up the recruiting thread last year? Why do you think you should start another one?

That wasn't me. Only recruiting thread I've seen before this one was Bundy's. Must have predated me. I know haven't posted much recently, but I've always been lurking. I'll try to give a warning if I'll be gone for a while.

True, but he hauled it a few times in the 6A championship. he looked very rugged but still had consistent finesse on his passes. I swear I didn't know he was a soph..

I am a little hesitant about wanting anyone that is not a mobile QB. Unless these new receivers can actually stretch the field.

This is what I expected but never really saw this year.

A healthy Malcolm Johnson could go for 800+ yards.

I wish I could ask Mullen or Koenning why we didn't use him more after he got healthy.

He def has the best hands on the team. We need to have more plays next year where he is the #1 read.

Mullen needs to steal a few plays out of the Patriots playbook.

I really want to see the play where it starts off as an option but then the QB shovel passes to the TE up the middle

I honestly don't think we have ever had a TE catch for over 500yds before.

Yeah...the only reasonable explanation is that he was just never 100%. He really needs to be a focal point of the offense next year.

Which also consists of having O line capability that not only maximizes QB protection, but also allows the smallest rusher in the NFL to look like Brian Westbrook.

Something should be referenced about the 2014 class being the lucky group of gladiators to beat the sheer shite out of Southern Miss in their College Football debut

Anybody know anything about EJ Moss? 247 ran an article about him being at our junior day just recently. Plays QB in AL. and none of our 247 "Targets" seem to be QB's.

We are recruiting Moss as a LB. We have offered three QBs so far, John Wolford from Jacksonville, FL, Michael O'Connor from Bradenton, FL, and Kendrick Doss from Florence, AL.

John Wolford

Michael O'Connor

Kendrick Doss

ETA: 4* QB Luke Ward from TN was at our Jr. day last weekend

We have little to no chance at the O'Conner kid. He is from Canada is likely is about to commit to Michigan State.
