We aren't going to host. Ok I'll give it ENGT's 1%.
The best we can hope for is to finish out strong and a close regional, cause I'm not traveling too far for it. I've taken off work to do this so they had best come through.

The only chance we have of hosting anything is if we win the regional we get sent to and the 1 seed across from us loses
Then we should be more favorable for a super host.
That's the only scenario where will see post season baseball at the dude.

I don't expect to host but can the SEC tourney not give us a nice boost possibly if we were to win the west(which i doubt happens)?

We have to finish in the top 2 or 3 overall in the SEC (Florida has essentially locked up the number 1 seed) and make it to the finals of the SEC tourney IMO

We are currently tied for 3rd in the league. And we always make a run in the tourney. Even then I'm not sure that would help our RPI enough to host.

I havent understood the gloom and doom reactions from your fan base all season... You guys literally went a month straight without winning a series at the start of conference play last season (series losses to UCA, LSU, Arky and UK) but still hosted and made an Omaha run... That just goes to show you how meaningless Feb and March baseball really is.

Really high preseason expectations and rankings do that to you. State is still a good team, obviously...
