If CJ flips plus Freeze's overall recruiting....we'd have to start thinking about HUD soon to give Freeze some actual competition on the recruiting trail. No matter how much the sunshine pumpers whack it to diamonds the majority of players that can be considered game changers and can win games in the SEC are blue chippers. Mullen may be a good coach but he doesn't have near the presence a Freeze or HUD has.

If CJ flips, I think Mullen's arse in the hot seat quickly. It's a devastating blow to our recruiting class if he does.

Well I am heading to do some things and hoping to find out news. But I will say that no, we have not know for weeks that this was happening.

I agree with your post. If we lose Jones and miss a bowl next year it might be time to part ways with Mullen. The guy isn't a terrible coach but if you cant recruit at a decent level in the off season and compete during football season then you're simply not doing your job as a coach.

Honestly, if we lose Chris Jones it's likely a domino effect with the rest of our Mississippi recruits.
