I just drove to Manchester Kentucky. It is in clay county Kentucky. im here to tell you right now that Manchester is Extremely poor. there is absolutely nothing there and what they do have is small. thank god stoops honored his scholarship because if he stayed in there he would be in bad shape in 4 years. this is poor eastern ky and i mean poor.

This post is 100% accurate. The two largest employers in the county are probably the county board of education and the federal prison. Not very many opportunities for a young person to succeed. I am a teacher in Clay County and I know Jacob well. He is one of the best kids I have ever met.
