Kudos to you for trying. It aggravates the shite out of me as well. Nice to know who you are having a conversation with or against. It used to happen very seldom, but now many people do it all the time for no reason at all. I think it became more popular with rise of alters. I get the argument against it though too. No one wants to have a restricted board where you can't have any fun either. So while a I agree with you in theory, it is almost impossible to do in practice.
