SECRant specific Reinstatement Threads

Just a question for Admin. Would it be possible from now on to get SECRant specific Reinstatement Threads? 870hog was kind enough to point us in the direction of the OT today for it, but if we're going with the whole "operating as two different sites" deal would it be possible to start getting our own Reinstatement Threads?

Can we do a "Please Ban" thread. It's like a reinstatement thread, except the complete opposite.

I understand how it could be a little annoying to do two different reinstatement threads. Maybe they could at least sticky a thread on the SEC boards to tell people there is a reinstatement in progress.

The two biggest issues to me with the one thread is:
- There's generally several TD/OT folks that are getting put up for reinstatement and just with the sheer volume I think some Rant folks get lost/glossed over in it.
- Unless someone ventures over to the OT, and a lot of Ranters don't now because of the OTB, then no one knows it's even going on until Chicken is done.
That would definitely help.

I totally get it. I wonder if people from the other one would come over to the SECr and try to be freed.
I've always thought that it would be worth thinking about to have a more uniform banning system that was more straightforward... Like, if you commit an offense, you are gone for a minimum of however long, and then, when that period is up, you would be eligible for consideration at the next reinstatement thread. Sort of like a parole hearing.
Then also, if someone is tempted to do something, they know what their punishment will be before they press the submit button.

They should put a countdown clock in top right when you are banned so you know how long
