You and I both know there are some good aubs that would be a good addition to our board, just as there are some of us that would be good additions to yours.
You and swoop are grandfathered in at this point, but I don't have a problem with a "no more auburn posters" situation until we're allowed on your board. Otherwise yall get your cake and eat it too.

I, for one, like you parkjas but agree with my brethren. This will help drive yall to make your board less narrow minded and maybe they can touch the magnificence of the Georgia board one day. Maybe.

I like park too. In fact I like pretty much every AU fan that would actually request access and post over there. It's more of a principles thing.
Also I've started a spreadsheet to keep track of nominations. I'll check it again friday for any late edits but I wanted to go ahead and start a tally.

Two wrongs also don't make a right. The posters that want in your board or others have all,asked to open the board, but many of the fringe get scared and they out number the few.

Maybe in your next go around (all the way in dadgum april) propose a compromise. Your blue hairs probably assume (incorrectly of course) that your board will be just like the SECR, with 50% Aubs and 50% other. Apparently they don't realize that outsiders would still have to get a board vote then admin approval.
Maybe if you try out a trial system where you let 5ish people on and see how it goes they'd be more receptive. It just sucks you have to wait til april. I've been trying to post on that board for months.

All of this has been suggested. Somehow, even though the vast majority of post on our board come from probably 20 posters or so, the vote had a much larger number. They came out of the wood work to vote no

Without pulling up my spreadsheet, I think there were around 80 votes from posters (via posts, twitter, and email). We have an overwhelming amount of lurkers that chime in when these votes occur. Not saying it's a good or bad thing, but it is what it is. Overcoming their votes will be a chore though. Hopefully we can get the vote moved to between NSD and A-Day so that there will be less lurker votes.
fwiw, I would eventually like access to the DR. I was part of the original DR, have been a Braves fan all my life, and will be moving to GA soon. I've asked for access a couple times in the preseason, but I know better than to ask now due to the politics of it all. But put me on the list for if/when the time comes

uhhhh what? Why would you take any posts besides in the actual thread? If someone doesn't GAS enough to find their way to the board and reply to the thread why should their vote in the issue count?

I may be wrong, but I think they were banned at the moment folks, but regulars. Like when TT gets banned every other month or so

I say no to the AU folks until they open their board to some of our folks. I haven't seen any UGA poster go and flame another board (with one exception)
