You obviously don't know him as a poster. He doesnt show any animosity towards Bama and actually has Bama ties through family.

Its nothing personal. The Bama board is for Bama fans. I think we should revoke the few others who have access as well.

I am doing the State thing in support of their CWS run as they are the last SEC school in the tourney.

The purpose of a team-specific board is to discuss topics related to that team free of flaming and trolling. Not to serve as a circle jerk for fans of that team. If you want that, just go to TideFans. I really don't understand why so many of you have a problem with a couple of people who never flame or troll being able to post on our team board if they have an interest in doing so.

Aren't you a Michigan fan too?
You can have more than one school that you pull for. I have access. I'm a Kentucky fan first, but an Alabama fan as well. I watch as many Alabama games as any Alabama first fan on this board. I haven't missed a Bama football game in a long time. I haven't missed an Alabama basketball game that's been televised in a long time either.
Cheese Grits is one of the best posters on this board. He knows his stuff and he doesn't flame or troll.

I think too often people see something but do something else as a knee jerk response. I use the because Chicken does not have one that is just an SEC logo. I could have just as easily used the or another school just as easily but I did not want to cloud the message with the messenger. I do not ascribe to the "us" vs "them" mentality when it comes to the SEC as we are all in this together. I just find it humorous that I have followed Bama sports since before most on here were born yet someone sees I do not have a and shuts down.
