I was banned for over a year. I didn't realize I had to email the admins to get back on, so I just lurked for the entire 2008 year until I saw a reinstatement thread.

Now days if you get banned the notification gives you a place to argue for Your reinstatement, I’ve been given time out for some pretty ridiculous things like posting a picture of our quarterback and posting a picture of miles Garrett fully clothed

Chicken was very salty about us getting Kyler Murray

Every time I've been banned, I always replied in the "reinstatement" box to tell the administration that I was not going to request reinstatement.
Whenever I've been reinstated, it's been because someone else asked.
