Alahunter has made it clear, though, that there's not going to be a mass addition of posters. Which essentially means no one else is getting in right now (I assume). I still support your addition

I think it's a bad idea. Leave the fan boards to each team. We could work on cleaning up the rant and SEC recruiting boards to mingle with other fans.

I guess it'd be OK to add Auburn posters that wish to discuss recruiting and such, but it's up to the Alabama board admins. I'd like to be able to post over there, but that decision is out of my hands.

I personally think if the SECr wasn't so out of control right now, this wouldn't even be an issue. We have to resort to "locked" boards because it's impossible to have a legit conversation on the public board

He should you bring a good and wide range of info and insight. You would be a better addition to the Bama board than me. I will give up my access if it would allow you to get on it. If Alahunter and others will be agreeable to that.

Not only is it not like that, it has never been like that. Even in the beginning we had other guys in - spillover from the "beta" stage.
The fact that so many people are convinced that it's Auburn-only right now only drives home the point that it won't have nearly as much of an effect as people are making it out to be.

I think it all boils down to how seriously some people take the Internet. A lot of people who have chimed in on the thread on the Auburn board apparently don't read the Auburn board too frequently to begin with.
They're vehemently opposed to "fans from rival teams joining the board! Next we'll have UF and UGA fans joining!!!11!" and they don't realize that opposing fans already have access to their board.
There seems to be a "frick a bunch of bammers" mindset going on. I simply want to ensure we don't go down that road on the Alabama board. We ain't running WoolyAl or BamaMag over there, and I'll be damned if it becomes such.

Nobody take anything personally at this point. We're taking things slowly, a little bit at a time. Don't think that anyone's out to get anyone at this point. I honestly don't think that's the case.

I realize that and I have gone at it with him in the past, but have moved on. I am being serious if you can get Alahunter and Flesh to agree to the swap of me and you AMM I am good with it. I think it can be a great thing if incoming fans are respectful and offer info, opinion, and idea void of malcontent.

Alahunter rustles my jimmies on the rant but I love his posts on the OT. I'm sure I have posted something not positive about his rant topics (about AU) and that keeps me off the bama board.

I don't think there needs to be any swapping or trading of access. Like I said, let's just take it one day at a time and see how things go. I'm pretty confident that, as time rolls on, more people will get access who deserve access.
