No I called you out for saying things like this:
Out of respect for Flesh and the other Alabama posters who aren't working with a handful of brain cells apparently I kept it respectful on the Bama Board.
That's not talking shite about Alabama, it's team/coaches, or the fanbase. It's calling you out for being the idiot that perpetuates the stereotype that they're entitled, asshat fans.
quote:
You guys have never been a relevant football program at all at least Bama has times they've been good at basketball. Could Stoops bring energy? sure. Is he likely to? No. So you guys are wasting your time and our time recruiting Elam. You guys only care at this point to keep him away from better programs. You guys have never cared about football stop pretending like y'all do. Just like "ole miss" fans, kentucky football fans are the worst at trying to be Bama football fans as well. You guys are only football fans when you get a new coach, much like when Brooks started out, when Phillips started out and so forth.
quote:
I am tired of the "SEC" manifesting itself to the point Kentucky, Ole Miss, State, and USC fans are convinced they have anything to do with SEC football tradition.
quote:
Because we need an elite nose guard to compete at the level we do. You guys could take a 2 star guy and still shoot for the Music City Bowl. If you guys aren't going to commit to being an A program, attracting an A level athlete is just wasting his skills.

You were arguing about UK on the Bama board. Lucky for you, we have a weak admin.

Apparently someone is pissy because I spoke the truth about Kentucky's program. And everything you just posted was after you called me out for mocking your great and proud Kentucky football program YESTERDAY.
What I said originally was a recruit choosing Kentucky when they have other SEC offers is pitiful. Its pretty much based in the history of your program.

No problem. When a real Bama board and admin pops up, I will join that one. Why else do you think I have been calling you out for weeks.

I was discussing Matt Elam's recruitment which we have in common. It may have been spirited, but it was discussion nonetheless. At no point was it not about recruiting. It was actually all about recruiting.

I'm sorry, I was celebrating Christmas yesterday. Is there a moratorium on how long we can respond to posts?

And I think you're the one that's a little upset.

Pretty sure most of it was about UK and their place in college football, which isn't much. I will say the same about Bama basketball. It isn't much.

Actually, if you read it, it was about why Elam could potentially choose UK over Alabama after comments to the contrary.

Their place. I'm not sure I understand what this means. Do you mean that a program that isn't a traditional power isn't allowed to recruit good athletes, or strive to be better? That they should back away from recruits that the traditional power schools are interested in because "their place" is lower on the traditional totem pole?
I like Bama. My guy is a Bama fan, and former Bama player. I honestly like the Bama fans I've met, and love going to games in Tuscaloosa. But I don't understand this thinking. It sounds entitled and arrogant. Shouldn't programs all recruit the best players they can, and strive to get better every year? I realize I may not fully understand this conflict, so if there's a more logical explanation for the comments, I apologize.

Too late. Power hungry uses excuse in this thread about not allowing poster because of something said on another board, then allowing one to talk about Bama posters on other boards and backing them. Banned me for calling him out. He will say it was because of recruiting, but we know better.

No she got mad because I said Kentucky football sucks. Not that they can't or shouldn't recruit big time guys. She seems to think hiring Mark Stoops somehow makes the program that much better.

Yet you said....

But ok. Keep playing the victim here.

Again that was after you got mad. Which the 2nd sentence addresses, you guys haven't ever made a decent commitment to football stop pretending you guys did by hiring the wrong Stoops.
