While we drift in limbo during this month long coaching search, let’s reminisce...

Best Memory
Grier to Callaway (never been more excited after a play)
Worst Memory
Chris Rix to PK Sam (never been more disappointed)

There's no way Grier to Callaway was more exciting than Franks to Cleveland

I was watching the game with my dad when Grier played. I was with my GF with franks. My dad and I slapped hands, chest bumped, and did a jig on the living room floor.
My girlfriend and I just laughed on the couch for franks to Cleveland.

Yeah I was at the Grier to Callaway game with my dad, sitting in the south end zone where it was coming towards us. One of my favorite Gator memories shared with him.
I remember him saying "if he never throws another pass and Callaway never catches another pass in their careers, they are going to be legends for the Gators forever for that play". Eerie now looking back on that statement.

Grier to Callaway was more exciting to me. Probably because of the comeback and the 4th down conversions and the fact the streak against UT was still on.

Although Grier to Callaway was most impressive. Tennessee had an opportunity to win and botched the FG. So I'll go with the Franks to Cleveland pass as time ran out as the dagger that finished UT.

If Gus Scott had just turned the other way, he could’ve deflected it.

I dunno, stuffing Guice in Death Vally last year after ALL of that pussy talk took it for me.
The internet wasn't working right in the fourth quarter so I had to switch to Radio and the announcer was so distraught that I couldn't understand him so I sat there for 20 seconds listening to a deafening sound of the crowd until he finally said:
''THEY'VE DONR IT, THE GATORS HELD THEM...'' and I just went absolutely apeshit. Maybe it was because it was the radio, but man oh man that was a memory.

I didn't even see the game. I was flying at the time.
I had just landed and saw my father at the airport, we turned on the radio and listened to the final minute in the car.
When we heard the final call, we went fricking nuts. I'm not sure how we didn't crash the car on the way back to my parent's house

One of the most exciting moments for me was 1977 WLOCP after we had a crushing loss to the dawgs the year before. Wes Chandler made an unbelievable catch with just an inch left in the back of the end zone to seal dawgs fate. ABCs Keith Jackson gushed over the catch for several minutes. We were still basically a veer/wishbone team back then and did not throw the ball much.
The worse loss was the year before in 1976 when we had a commanding lead at half time 27-13 and Jimmy Fisher was our wishbone QB...we had a lot of fleet footed runners back then...but defense was average. Jawja came out of the locker room with their hair on fire and scored 28 unanswered points to beat us 41-27...I was so damn drunk at halftime celebrating what would be our first SEC championship and just sat there with my head in my hands.
BTW Wes Chandler was an AA and still remains the Highest SEC 1st round overall pick in the pros of a WR. He was the best WR to ever play for much.

I think an honorable mention was Meyer's revenge on Georgia for storming the field by calling a timeout in the final seconds.

Something I was personally there for, even though UF lost the game, I will never forget this moment. The place went nuts. When we stopped celebrating I was in a different row and section of the stadium.

This play is burned into my memory because I can still hear my dad screaming RUN YOU MOTHER frickER RUN as he broke through the OL.

In 2000, UF was losing 21-3 against South Carolina after having 2 punts blocked for TDs, and came back to take a 31-21 lead at the half. It was a meaningful game because the winner would win the SEC east. A lot of people may not know this, because the replay isn't out there, but Lito Sheppard returned a punt to end the 1st half for a TD. And it was magical. UF had come all the way back and was winning 24-21, the whole stadium was chanting LITO LITO LITO as south carolina lined up to punt. He then took it to the house and it was nuts.

Best play ever in the Swamp.
There's not one above it.
The Swamp has had a ton of big games, but that was it. That will never be topped.

Oh...I remember the 1990 game in Spurriers first year and we had been suffering at the hands of AU & UGA for some time, well this time we were in the Swamp and Vernon Barber, a WR who really wasn't fleet footed took a punt back a long ways with the crowd going apeshit cause it took so long and we beat the crap out of them 48-7 I believe.
But of course AU would bite us back in the mid 1990s when Danny threw picks and we had fumbles and that visor got tossed a few times.

Me and my best friend(an LSU fan) were in the SW corner of BHG when Tebow threw his first jump pass and we beat the tigers in 2006. After leaving the stadium we stopped to get some sodas for the drive home and park right beside Billy Donovan and his boy. My daughter gets her jersey autographed by Billy inside the 7-11, and I say "how bout that Tebow kid, pretty sweet jumper" . Just then my knuckle headed buddy says GO TIGERS! To which Billy responds "what game were you watching".
