I am going to go with an optimistic 8-4 record with losses to Ole Miss, TX, GA and OK. 7-5 I can live with but I will be disappointed big time if we go 6-6.

@Auburn and @Mizzu are early games that will determine our season. Win both and 8-4 is possible. Lose both and we could be looking at a catastrophe and a losing 5-7 season.

If we lose both of those games on the road its likely our offensive line is a poor SEC offensive line and we have at least one Tackle that is getting beat handily in SEC games. A good OC can work around some weaknesses a bit but you have a big disadvantage if your line cant pass block halfway decent in the SEC.

I think our range of possibilities is from 5-7 to 9-3 (9-3 is highly unlikely though imo). For 9-3 to be a possibility the O line would have to be pretty good which I have a hard time seeing us being strong at LT unless Westphal overcomes his injury and has some major talent.

I think we go 8-4, but I think we'll win a game we're expected to lose and vice versa.
I love the energy Sumrall has brought and the direction we're going in.

Equal odds 6 wins or 7.

Eight wins would be a major success for CJS.

8-5 or 9-4 season. I think we take down OU in the Swamp.

Am I crazy for thinking we go 10-2 with the losses being to Texas and Georgia?

I would say yes but I would probably be seeing that sunshine also if not for our situation at Offensive Tackle currently. One guy people seem to think may start was destroyed on a few plays and I couldn't see the number but another Tackle was also (maybe Boyer?). We have the weapons at WR but if that isn't taken care of there will be some big issues. I think Sumrall said we have an issue of stiff ankles at Offensive Tackle and we must improve there to have any chance.

My guess would be

FAU- Win
Campbell- Win
at Auburn - L
Ole Miss- Win
at Mizzou- L
South Carolina- Win
at Texas- L
Georgia- L
Oklahoma- Win
at UK - L
Vandy- Win
at FSU- Win

7-5 is my guess

As early as it is without really knowing anything about how the O-line will play, although they have a couple of games before things get tough

I want to say 6 - 6 but with this schedule 8 wins should be the low

Unfortunately this team no matter the coach has been prone too lose a game they should win

So I will say 7 & 5 with loses to Ole Miss, Uga, Texas, Oklahoma, then choke one at either UK, Mizzou, or Unfortunately FREE SHOES U

This team with this schedule should win 9 games
Even if Napier was coach, so let's see what happens, I hope by game 6 we are not scratching our heads looking at another losing season!!!!

We have a solid rb room and the most talented WR core since the 2019-20 seasons.

Traut is a top tier OL coach. But it takes time for that to gel, and we have some question marks.

I think if the qbs can be good 9-3 is achievable but if they suck like Fagway did last year 5-7 is possible

I think about average SEC QB play is likely the ceiling (which is decent QB play actually) so I think that LT spot will determine if we can reach 8-4 or better. Went and found another video of spring and Ugorji needs a lot of work. Boyer looked a little flat footed but I would have more faith he could grow into the role more than Ugorji who was blown up a lot as a freshman in the ACC last season just like the spring game. Still hoping Westphal is good enough to take that spot despite being no contact in the spring.

I didn’t predict that they were gonna be as bad as Fagway was just saying IF they were that bad that that would be the results.

I agree with Gator Fever that they’ll be average at worst, and 8-4/9-3 are reasonable targets if this staff is competent.

I was just messing with you, Lagway like Napier should be unspoken names. Bad vibes.

Well I always refer to them as Fagway and Gaypier, so technically I do not speak either of their names

I don’t say their actual names, just pejorative nicknames based on their names
