Pipe dream. They are more interested in a woke agenda than athletics unless there is a cheer or song that might offend someone.
The UAA is run by big donors, they will make the decisions on sports related issues.

I'm near that point.
Main thing holding back from doing it RIGHT NOW is who would we replace him with that we won't likely fire in 3-5 years?

I say this because I feel like we're in a similar place to where we were in 2017 right now.
Mac was clearly not the guy for the job, but had a good recruiting class coming in (plus had a 10 win season and won the east twice).
The pressure got applied, he cracked, and we fired him.
Not a bad decision, but what do we do?
Hire Dan fricking Mullen!
If we're going to replace a loser with an even bigger loser, might as well give the current loser a make or break year if they have a top 5 class coming in to bring in talent.
I say if we had a clear cut great hire in the works to replace the guy right now, then absolutely do it. I don't think that's our circumstance right now.

In fairness, he gets at least one more year to show some improvement. We as fans need to limit the negativity. If he doesn't make the necessary changes to his staff and show improvement a change needs to be made at the AD level and HBC for football.

That is on him but I do hope he can still land a top class. Nothing he has done so far suggests he knows what he is doing however.

Too soon to say how that works out.
Besides baseball, basketball, and football, I don't pay close attention, so I can't speak on the other sports.

stricklin is doing what the ppl paying him are telling him to do . I can’t emphasize this enough. I’m not saying stricklin would be good otherwise but he went from taking wild swings at chip Kelly who at the time was a hot name the uaa hated to basically now being the uaa’s lap dog
So they fire stricklin or muschamp or like whoever is coming in is going to be the same thing. Some of y’all seem to not get that. It’s the uaa it’s the admin it’s not the coach or the AD past them just being their dog
