I think we have a good chance of beating Vandy this week?

Not sure what I am hoping for this game. Vandy is one of the worst rushing defenses in the country and has a talent level about like South Florida. Maybe Jones hitting some guys in stride down the field a few times and working on passes down the field that aren't just receivers mostly sitting down in routes with their numbers facing the QB.
Don't remember where the stat was from but it said Jones was almost as likely to throw a pass that was considered to be an interception possibility when throwing 16+ yards down the field as he was to make a completion.

I don't know what my expectations are either. All I know is that if the offense sputters out the gate, the fans will be restless.

i'm expecting mullen to "play with his food" again to get emory more reps in reading a defense.

Hopefully its not just mostly basic throws but I am expecting the announcers to tell us how great Jones passing is coming along again while we might see differently the next game.

Honestly the offense will be able to do whatever they want to do on Saturday. Vandy will not be much of a fight should I say SHOULD be at least 38 to 0 at halftime and hopefully we will get to see one of the younger guys get a few snaps.
All I want to se is at least 4 to 5 deep passes

I'd love to see a few down field passes but I'm not going to be holding my breath for that. Hopefully Mullen will use this game to fine tune a few things (a lot of things?) that need work before LSU. I agree, we REALLY need to beat LSU.

What does Mullen do in that situation. Would he really give AR almost the whole 2nd half? I am thinking he might not want to get too much talk started again and may leave Jones in there a little longer and just do his few plays things with them in the first half. Thinking about it again maybe he would since it might mean Jones is passing on them easy also with a score like that.

This was a Piss Poor performance all around yes we won 42 - 0 but you get 21 points in the first 7 minutes in the third quarter and nothing the rest of the way.
The O-line injuries or not has digressed the last 2 weeks way WAY to many penalties I'm very disappointed in the play calling and beyond belief that Mullen will not send Hevesy Packing today this guy needs to be Fricking Fired now!!!!!
