What is the latest on Baugh? Are we likely to keep him or is TX going to make some crazy offer?

If it is a crazy offer I hope we don't match it and spend on multiple other players in the portal. We aren't going to spend as much NIL as some of the teams out there. Need to be a little smart on it.

Well we saved 6 Mil by not hiring Kiffin so that money should go to NIL
So if we don't have the money to keep Baugh then I guess we won't have the money to get a good QB to come here plus will lose Dallas Wilson as well

I don't see them Rolling with Tramell
So lets see what they decide to do

There are a lot of good running backs, that is why they are not valued higher. Spend the money on offensive linemen to open up holes and a good back will run thru them.

That and in the SEC they just don't seem to be nearly as important as before as long as you have a pretty good one - following the NFL trend. I can't think of an SEC team in the last 3 years or so where the rushing of a RB seemed to be carrying a good team mostly. Maybe Sampson at TN last season along with their defense but can't think of many. Etienne even went to a way better situation at GA and had worse numbers than when he was at UF in his rushing attempts.

Spending a reasonable amount on Wilson and for a new QB is the best option when looking at those 3 positions imo if the money is limited.

Big hit. He should be as big a priority as Baugh imo.

I'm not either. Most of these players will find that their value is not a high as they believe or are being told it is.

You think some end up staying this year or will it be like that one booster says happens a lot - the player ends up leaving even if UF matches the offer or sometimes even takes just a little less than UF would pay because of ego and being mad the school wouldn't pay the price they were trying to get.

Things could be worse I guess. I wonder if Napier slow walks the portal again considering they are losing all their starters. JMU supposedly has a decent NIL budget for Group of 5 teams I guess.

I would get a laugh out of FSU signing Lagway. Curious how that would work out for them.
