I believe the future is bright. We moved on from Napier, hired what I believe will be a great coach, money being spent to buy and retain players. Schedule is more manageable that the last couple years. Exciting times to be a Gator.
I can't wait for coach to arrive for good and spring ball to start.

The future looks good. Definitely stuff to be optimistic about out and more importantly…

I’m in wait and see

If we keep Baugh and Wilson (think we already kept Myles Graham) I’ll feel that way

Yeah sure losing Baugh is just one guy but to me it is more about what it represents about how serious our big money guys are about being serious in the modern landscape than the actual players themselves though they do have importance themselves

It would be nice to keep Baugh but NIL decisions need to be made on the team overall. If we think someone is offering him too much we need to move on. In the SEC any RB can be kept in check if that team has a good defense and your QB doesn't scare them that much. We saw that this season many times. Baugh only averaged over 5 yards in 2 SEC games and averaged 4 yards even or less in 4 FBS games.

With the money we saved in hiring kiffin we should be the ones overspending nil on star players

We don't have Ohio State and TX NIL money. We need to spend but not hurting the team overall by paying one player that won't totally change things like a top QB can too much money.

We need to keep Baugh if we can but if TX makes some crazy offer it is what it is.

Exactly. Although, I believe he would have been much better if not used like a gadget in Billy’s system.

Apparently that is how he wants to be used being he is transferring

Its just disappointing that Faulkner didn't try to meet with all the guys before any of them put there name in the portal

Of course some guys wete going to leave no matter what

But being Faulkner didn't even put forth any effort to meet with any of the higher profile guys , just boggles my mind

Was it UF just saying we weren't going to pay the NIL number they were asking for on the higher profile players?

I haven’t read they haven’t met with the players. C&P where you are seeing that…

Just because they enter doesn't mean they are going, so keep that in mind.

I'm also not sure that the coaches haven't met with these guys. Just because everyone didn't have a high-profile Christmas Eve visit at their house with the HC and half the offensive coaching staff doesn't mean they are being ignored.

Some of these cats are also just 20-year-olds, and that's about as deep as it gets. A change of scenery is tempting when you're young for its own sake, especially if you might get a little more money out of it - or even if you find out that you aren't worth as much as you thought you were when you left.
