If Chip Kelly wants to be a head coach again then he will have to recruit . His recruiting would be a lot easier at UF then almost any other program.

Im not on the Kelly nor Gruden train. Stoops, Leech, and Gundy are my top choices. Stoops is unrealistic but if he does decide hey, I want to go again..UF would work.

Gruden isn't leaving his cushy job he has to go back to the coaching / recruiting grind. Just my .02

I highly doubt Stoops coaches again.

Leach like I said is a dream for me. Most of his QBs have been walkons yet led the nation in yards / tds ect. Id love to see what he could do with a 4-5 star QB.

Frost- i wouldnt be mad about it.

Chad Morris is a guy under the radar who i think could warrent a look. What hes doing at SMU is pretty impressive.

Gundy - name comes up alot recently, im not sure of his recruiting, but his offenses usually do pretty well.

I just want a multy pronged attack that makes defenses defend the whole field. Is it that fkn hard?? Lolol

I think Gundy is amazing. In 2011 he should have been in the title game vs LSU. Oklahoma State is not an easy place to recruit at all. He would need recruiters as would The pirate. Either way, I damn sure know we would have an offense lol

Gundy would be a HR. As would Kelly, Frost or even Taggart IMO. Fuente is another one. Btw TAMU is already setting up to make a run at James Frankin even though they're 4-2. That's being proactive and serious about your expectations. Stricklin already has 1 strike in my book with the extensions to Nord, Nuss and Mac. IMO he'll keep Mac one more year and go for Mullen.

Washington has whatever it needs to treat his son's illness. He is not leaving.

Sumlin should have been fired a year ago. I work with a few BMA’s here in Dallas and they haven’t been proactive with Sumlin at all. That isn’t an accurate take, TJ.

Agree with the other coaches you mentioned.

I'm still going with Steve Spurrier, fountain of youth, riding in on a unicorn. 10 straight undefeated nattys.

No. Its because he won't leave. He purposefully stayed in that area for his son.

Patterson isn't leaving TCU either. So no point in mentioning either.

Sounds like an unreasonable expectation.

So Mac getting fired in 2018 for not producing is unreasonable?

If after 2018 we are still not any better, it will be time to discuss a change. And, we will in better position to land a top coach by showing that we don't make knee jerk decisions to fire coaches before they have been given an appropriate amount of time based on the circumstances that they inherited. What top coach would take a job knowing that he only has 2 years to turn the program around before the fan base turns against him.

The time for the discussion is now. This is his referendum "show me year". 2018 will be the hot seat year if drastic changes and improvements aren't made this year.

Bottom line is this....

He ain't getting fired this year unless he goes 5-6 or worse.
Just turn Nuss into a QB coach and have Mac take over the play calling. This makes Corral and the fanbase happy.
Get rid of Nord after the year and hire a young dynamic recruiter to be the special teams coach. I just think the kick return units need some energy and Nord doesn't bring any energy whatsoever.
Have the oline coach teach the tight ends blocking and the wr coach route running.
Keep this class intact and get some more croots especially in areas of need. Sign 30 like Butch Jones was doing early in his tenure to address depth concerns.
Tell Randy Shannon to blitz a little more.

Is anything on this list unreasonable and if so please explain.

Where do I start.

He isn't getting fired if we don't win another game this season. This isn't going to happen, forget about it.

Blitzing exposes young D-backs unless you get to the QB so it's risky but i agree we should blitz more than we do.
