We all know why. I don’t know why we were trying to fool ourselves, but Florida is still a long way to go before they’re championship caliber.

We were lucky that Georgia was “down” and it allowed us to walk into the SEC Chpionship. Florida won the East die to another “down year.”

ETA: Citrus Bowl, here we come.

I’m not even mad. This has been coming for a few weeks.

I can tell you one thing for certainty.

We will never win a SEC Championship with Dan Mullen.

We will win with Mullen, but we will never, ever be a championship squad with Grantham as our DC.

His defense is just like him: Lazy, undisciplined, and selfish.

Mullen is starting to remind me of zook with an easier schedule but worse recruiting. The discipline of this team is similar to those early 2000 squads.

Nah as bad as tonight was the discipline overall isn’t near what those early 2000 teams had.

And that’s the disappointing thing.

2 downvotes already for being right.

But I don’t feel bad for McPherson. He should’ve never been put in that position. Not that he wasn’t capable, but we should have had the ball after we stopped them. But Wilson has to be a fuggin idiot.

Naw, NegaGators gonna be loud and proud. I will say that I was very disappointed. Defense is lost. Grantham has to go. Defense has not improved and was lost most of the night. All Bama has to do is run hurry up and they will score every possession. Shame to have wasted a great offensive year and remarkable QB. Well, Go Gators, beat Bama!

We don’t have a championship caliber coach . He made it obvious when he made Trask the starter. Hopefully he tanks so we get a new coach sooner then later. He can take the AD with him when he leaves.

Yep we didn’t look very good tonight, but I still don’t think this season was a total failure. I didn’t expect us to be championship caliber this year, and I thought it showed progress that we took the East.

East was down. If UGA had a functional QB, we wouldn’t be playing in ATL. And that’s the truth.

Or if UK could throw a forward pass.

Or if South Carolina WRs could catch.

Or if Tennessee started JT Shrout.

Or if Missouri didn't drop a wide open 60 yard touchdown pass.

Honestly, we've gotten very lucky. Now, certainly the COVID stuff just wrecked everything, so we had to deal with it just like everyone else did.

If they put up a fight next week, I'll be impressed, because everyone on that team right now probably is sick of 2020 and they just lost the only thing left they had to play for, because they are NOT winning next week.

Maybe. But I am not going to replay every game just because we sucked in this one. We have lots of issues for sure, but I have had a great time getting to watch Trask this season.

If we're being really honest, without Kyle Trask, this is a 5 win team at best.

And I'm being straight with you on that.

You’re 100% right. Trask really only had 1 interception tonight. The second was the flukiest of interceptions I’ve ever seen. And he still came out with 474 passing yds with 2 passing TDs and 1 rushing TD.

Jones didn’t have anything for Bama.

I was on a date with a woman who ended up being super cool. Ole Miss grad, and she totally got my being unable to take my eyes of the t.v. and offered to move to the bar. I was so frustrated that I suggested we go somewhere else where I couldn't watch the game. She was pretty cool, and first dates being first dates, I didn't want to have a negative, distracted vibe.

We left just as UF tied it up. Let me tell ya, catching back up on just what happened the rest of the 4th Quarter has been infuriating.

Mullen is at a crossroads. If he wants to take the next step, he's going to have to keep his foot on the gas and find a fricking DC that can do better than put together a brilliant game or two a season. We've played every game since Arkansas like we expected to roll a Gator helmet on the field and the opposing team would just shite themselves and give up.

I also don't care if LSU is down to playing the practice team. Since Saban showed up over there in 2000, after his first two years, that game is rarely a blowout for either team regardless of the records of either team. We're 9-12 against them since then, and they are two games away from tying the series up. It's not the fricking 90s anymore.

I had a bad feeling Dan and co. was going to treat this like a tune up game before playing Alabama, and I feel like that's exactly what happened. How fricking stupid.

I rushed home from work to watch the game, after seeing Pitts not dressed and then the crazy ricochet pic I turned the game.

My wife walks into the room: Hey, why you not watching Florida?
We lost...
Already??
Not yet, but it’s gonna happen.
I thought LSU wasn’t good this year?
They aren’t, but we’re stupid. Our best player isn’t playing and our defense is shite.
