You have no reason to believe me, but Matt isn't visiting Bama, the only way Matt isn't a Gator is if the new coach tells him no thanks, and I don't see that happening. Corral is locked in, I'm way more worried about getting Kelly.

Corral will take his visit -- I mean, it's against an FCS so it's not like it's a big deal but he'd be silly not to take a paid vacation at the expense of a rival school to be treated like royalty while they literally pay for everything.

On Chip Kelly:

He's always shot down rumors that he's interested in choaching in the past, he has no reason to not do so right now. They're gonna hash it out, and we're going to know before the FSU game if we have advanced.

I keep saying this every single goddamn page (not mad at you, just for everyone): This. Contract. Will. Be. Difficult.

It's the hottest name in coaching, and we've got to make him a Godfather offer to get him to come to Gainesville and we will, he will be the next HC, but we still have a lot of ground to cover before we sign anything. He has demands, we have demands. But just have faith, guys.

I want it now too. I have been feeling like a kid on Christmas morning waiting to run in and open my brand new toy. I believe this will get done but like Straws said, these things take time. I have no doubt in Strickland. I think he is one of the best if not the best AD in the nation. He will get this done

Yep, this is the first ''major'' hire we've made in a long time. Chip Kelly is/was literally one of the most sought after coaches in CFB, if people thought that they wouldn't take some time to hammer out a contract, they were sorely mistaken.

I also think Stricklin was kind of naive to believe that people wouldn't treat this like the Cold War. Spies errywhere.
