It's not speculation -- I said before the FSU game and knew that they were being very ambitious when they started saying it was whatever flavor of the day they had and I even said that it could drag on a little bit because of negotiations.

In fact, I've repeatedly prefaced: This is a big contract, it will take time.

Multiple sources from multiple walks of life around the program almost all point in the same direction, and now there is literally video evidence of Chip Kelly's representation in Gainesville.

As I said: It's only a matter of time -- it will be before the FSU game, but there are plenty of things that could drag this out for next week.

It's not easy to put in place a multi-million dollar deal in which we get what we want and he gets what he wants.

We want him to stick around for a while, and his desires are a little more ambiguous. But we're obviously looking for some failsafes in case he does get a call from the NFL -- I doubt he will, and I actually think if he does well (he could bomb, it's a possibility) he will retire at Florida.

That being said: You never liked Chip, but you'll see. He's the next HC unless someone does something retarded and asks for too much and then decides to die on the hill for it.

There's no way you can win at Oregon without pulling some sanctions.

He has no reason to do anything similar, he has access to the players this time around. I think he had a whole 5 players starting for him that were from Oregon on his championship team.

I read that was about facilities but that could just be speculative bs.
