I’m thinking something so wild, LSU is shocked beyond belief.

How about alternating quarterbacks? Trask & Jones

It’s been done before. Johnson & Brindise. Leak & Tebow.

We gotta outsmart Aranda and win TOP to beat this high octane offense.

What ideas do you have?

Two.

Out scheme and show that line to the players all week to show them they still haven't earned respect.

I'd also do a third thing. Roid shots to the Oline to man them up

All Mullen needs to do is let his player hear how disrespected they still are around the country just had a big win and undefeated and still a 2 TD dog on the road Zuniga coming back if this isn't enough then this team needs to forfeit the rest of the season

I just can't get behind this because of the skillsets of our QBs.

We need someone to pass because the running game can only get a band-aid. It works a few times, but the moment the opposing team starts to spy they're just going to crash whatever QB we use to run up the middle.

Emory Jones goes down, we're right back to where we are with Trask. We are the Gator Raid offense right now and it's really worked.

Before Trask over, we had scored on the first drive of the game twice over the past two years.

We have scored a touchdown on every single drive that he's started this year. I think Emory shouldn't get drives but he should be put into short yardage situations if only to make them respect the crash down or get outside for an option.

Outside of that, people are really building up Jones and he's had very, very sparse playing time.

I don't think we need trick plays although they are in the playbook. LsU doesn't have near the stout DL that AU had.

Main thing is that our defense needs to see the social media comments by LsU fans and podcasts by "media types" predicting the doom in red stick...we need our defense fired up!!!

That pitch sweep worked well last year. Wonder if we see something like that to throw off Aranda.

Wish we had Toney for this game. Would love to see him and Emory in the wildcat for some plays.

Mullen ran a delayed counter then option pitch with Trask and Perine on the 2nd TD drive.

Hadn't seen that before.

But the option gave LSU fits last year.

Mullen always seems to save those awkward looking option looks for big games.

LSWHO doing Florida a favor with all the trash talking eerie similar to the hurricane scared to play game. Hopefully Mullen has these quote all over the locker room and repeats it all at practice.

If this isn't enough motivation for the players then there is an issue

For some reason, this made me think of the Leon Phelps line, "Whip out everything you got and do it in the butt."

Crazy like just win? We win and it will show how crazy that line was. I wouldn't mind seeing a flea-flicker the first O play of the game.

Yeah..if CDM gets it done playing smart football then the trick plays won't be necessary. Auburn was favored by 2.5 in Gainesville and we should have won by more than 11.

Vegas needs to make money too, and I have seen -2.5, -7, and -13.5 from a lot of betting sites.

Listening to post game interviews this morning and our defense didn't have one penalty and got off the field. This defense should be rested and ready for this weekend.

27-17, Them Boys!

I agree .

Emory playing QB seems to open up the run game. The best way to beat a great offense is to keep them off the field. Plus with Emory at QB the defense needs to have a spy to keep him from running wild on passing plays. I expect Emory to play some and have atleast one surprise deep pass. Last year he had a surprise deep pass against Georgia that was perfect and the Georgia defender tackle the receiver when the ball was in the air he knew it would be a TD.

There is an awful lot of talking going on from the LSU players I've noticed.

Why does everyone think we need to change what we are doing? We are 6-0, LSU is not better than Auburn, at least on defense. We will need to score some points and play good defense, but how is that different than any other game? Everyone just chill and let Coach Mullen do the coaching.

If our o-line gives Trask time and the defense puts pressure on Burrow, we win the game. If that doesn't happen, we don't win.

This is what LSU used to say every year before getting bludgeoned by Alabama.

Just saying, lets not try to force things if they aren’t working. But rather, try to be innovative - even surprising - on offense and defense.

The big difference there. For like a decade straight it was the identical LSU team facing off against the identical Bama team that ended in nearly identical results.

UF-LSU is always my favorite week of the year. Cant wait for this game.
