Refs were god awful all night for both teams.
Defense was handicapped without any pass rush.
Need to win next week and get healthy for UGA.

I hope LSU doesn’t beat us twice like Georgia did last year.

Defense got abused
Proud of trask and the offense

I didn't complain on the Rant, and while they were bad for the most part -- they effectively eliminated the best part of our offense and defense.
The holding on our defensive ends was egregious, and their defense almost every single drive were just hugging our receivers -- to the point that Herbstreit is talking about it as being pretty obvious.
A pass heavy team like us running into refs who permit physical play like that -- and not physical, just downright terrible technique, takes us out of the game (although we were very close to scoring again at the end).
Similarly, a team missing its strongest defensive linemen and having LSU once again play dogshit technique doesn't help either.
I get it, no one wants to hear about refs, but at some point the SEC has got to get better crews. For all games. Not just this game. We easily have the worst reffing in the country by conference.

Without Greenard & Zuniga what kind of pass Rush do you expect and we were hanging in but if they are both out next week we are going to be in trouble on defense again.
We have to go out and get some pass rusher for next year. Hopefully we are recruiting that position very hard
Losing Polite and Joseph early to the draft last year really come back to hurt us and them leaving early when they were not fully ready to go to the next level hurt them as well

I'll take another grad transfer if there is another one out there like Greenard

Maybe but they gave a new staff reason to talk down players who might want to jump to the NFL. This could potentially help us keep Juniors one more year, especially on defense.

SEC officials are just bad. They don't favor any one team but are just bad, although they will throw a game changing penalty in every once in a while.

...and then you go on the rant and melt about the refs.

That wasn’t a melt. I’m a little pissed that LSU fans are promoting this narrative that LSU didn’t do anything egregious, so I pointed out 3 examples and they got all pissed

That is true, it wasn't a melt. You were giving it to them pretty good.

2 missed PI calls killed drives. No, the refs sucked and really fkd us over

The problem wasn't that they didn't call it both ways, the problem was that they either became completely blind or very perceptive in the worst moments for us.
To not call more than one penalty in three quarters against LSU and then call a hold when we took the lead in the third quarter was a little questionable. Especially when they missed LSU's tackles basically trying to wrap up and bring our DE's to the ground.

The no call on Tyrie was outrageous. How do you miss that shite?
Then in the EZ on I think 2nd n Goal, I wanna say it was Hammond or Swain, the DB had his arm pinned to his side from the back so he couldn't catch the ball.
The call on 72 hurt bad on a big catch n run by Perine. The half assed jogging 56 killed us on the option play at the end. He blocks his man and Perine walks in the EZ.
I always watch the games again to see why plays didn't work, and by no surprise its usually on the OL who failed to get even a stalemate on their guy or its a big play. On the play where Perine looked bottled up and broke it out wide, IF Tyrie blocks the db instead of trying to race Perine to the EZ its a score but no, he runs ahead of Perine who is caught by the man from behind with open field in front of him with Tyrie running alone
Our chances were there. I hope this was sort of a coming our game for our offense, I definitely am excited for what we can do once the execution is cleaned up

I know we're going to have a good year, but I am very, very ready for next year and an off-season so we can fix these problems on the OL.
IF we do that, we have a breeze with the schedule next year.

I think Delance is a SR, thank goodness so that's one problem that solves itself
We're not at practices so we don't really know shite, but I find it tough or very depressing to believe that some of the young guys are not beating these guys out in blocking drills ect.
