It may be my biggest gripe to date with Franks. He's a decent Quarterback but his lack of self-control is not a good sign for someone who's playing the Quarterback position. Lack of focus, and discipline are his worst qualities and they can be seen in how he conducts himself.

However, this one isn't so bad. I think the Del Rio one was really, really bad optically, but this is just a dude being emo. Happens all the time.

We have gone round and round about Franks, and I have plenty of criticism about him as well, but one thing you have to say is he is one tough cookie. He took tons of shots this season and kept on going. I will root for whoever dons the O&B and for all his faults, Franks is easy to root for. The kid give his all.

Easy to root for some.

I personally will be glad to have a QB who isn't on social media, or who only uses his social media to boost the team around him.

These kind of posts are cringeworthy. I'm ready for a Jones or a Richardson.

Finchy. I thought we were not going to talk about Franks anymore. It turns Straws into TJ.

No, TJ talks shite about all aspects of Florida football no matter who it is -- Mullen, Muschamp, McElwain. Recruiting, defense, offense, special teams, etc. etc..

I'm really just exhausted with this castaway, and will be happy when he moves on. As will the vast majority of you guys.

i'd like it to end, but it's the off season. it's the only topic that will keep you guys here til august.

I actually agree.

TJ will never return here. He can't live down the Taggart and Mullen thing. Especially now that Mullen is even out recruiting Taggart, and Mario is proving he was the reason Oregon recruited so we'll, not Willie.

Go suck a dick TJ. You won't be missed

Chicken must have told you to get the clicks up or he would get a new UF board mod.

There's a GREAT thread on the Recruiting board because it was basically him talking about how amazing Taggart was and how he was "cleaning Mullen's clock".

He also quoted Bill Sikes who is now "retired" from Twitter.

Who said this on this board?

Quote it or GTFO?

Glad we have Straws on hear that knows more about QBs than Dan Mullen.

Well, when you say things like I'm TJ for pointing out that Franks is a pretty average QB outside of a game or two I assume you're okay with that.

Not me, I'd like to see him get multiple 300 passing games a year.

He had zero this year.

Previous QBs who had games with more or the same amount of passing yards in a game than any game Feleipe Franks had this year:

Will Grier (Played six games)
Jeff Driskel
John Brantley
Austin Appleby

Hopefully Franks can be a little above average by his third year with a Quarterback Guru.

Most of those dudes were in Muschamp/McElwain's offenses.

So you picked GTFO with this bullshite.

Passing yards are for Big 12 pussies. It means that your team can not run the ball and your team is behind.

From 9 TD 8 INT - 111th in the nation on passer rating to 24 TD 6 INTs 44th Last INT was the UGA game. Rushing TDs went from 0 to 7. His TDs and INTs numbers are low thirties in the nation. First year in the system.

You are filling the TJ void on this board without the personal shite.

Or for pussies with excuses, but I digress.

Every QB has been able to do it, Franks has not.

He's not some dynamic runner, either.

Finally:

18 of his 24 passing touchdowns came against teams with losing records or FCS teams.

He has a total of six passing touchdowns against teams that have winning records.

You want to get your knees dirty slobbing on some dude who can't get 100 yards vs. Missouri, takes three and a half quarters vs. Georgia and who has a backup come in and dominate him like the bitch he is, you knock yourself out.

I'll definitely be bringing this thread up when Emory Jones starts his first game this year or next year, whichever it is -- because you guys will all be saying "Feleipe Who?"

If this dude played for any other team (say like Martell from Ohio State) you guys would be going in on him, but because he's our puppy we pretend he's not covered in shite.

Richardson is a year away and a three star....let’s hope for now he isn’t the only answer or we are in trouble

Richardson is a monster, man. Smart, strong, looks like a goddamn Linebacker.

Jalon and Richardson are probably the future. Emory will be our first above average QB since Tebow, Jalon will likely be almost elite and Richardson will absolutely be elite -- especially with as much time as he's going to have exposed to Mullen.

If you need clicks Finchy it wont come from me. First you pass the edict that there would be no more rankling of the Franks subject and you do it after a groundswell of support for him, pointing out the obvious improvements.

You let Straws blast this kid non stop and I don't need another fricking eight months of it. No one knows what 2019 holds in store. I have said many times I will support whoever is starter at QB...but Straws wont support Franks because his panties got wadded when Trask wasn't named the starter.

And no need to reply Strawsy, I will avoid the horse shite for a while. Im a positive person by nature and have plenty of other things to do...such as serious fishing in the spring. Have fun

No one cares, reel.

This is a place for people who supported our coach, not called him a hunchback with a bad record. Thanks for stopping by.
