Ok, you guys keep supporting this shite. Keep selling out the Swamp, keep giving these losers your money. You'd have to be as blind as Stevie Wonder not to notice Sumrall's change in enthusiasm and demeanor. What we all know is in the last decade under Stricklin, our football team has underperformed to flat out quitting in a lot of games. Aaron Chiles makes $320k to $500k in NIL, (esttimatted) He said it's just 2 losses, not the end of the world. Also, who told the band to stop playing "GatorBait"? Stricklin is a snake oil salesman. Enjoy sub .500 football, with entitled lazy, soft players, until he and like minded people are replaced.

I will, because I'm a Gator through thick and thin.

Sumrall addressed this very thing in his Monday presser. Take off your tinfoil hat and go watch it. He said when we win he's a lunatic and when we lose he's more supportive to keep the players on a more even keel. It's a common coaching tactic.

Fair point. Judge the AD on his hires, but the jury is still out on Sumrall so it's unfair to lump him in with the previous hires.

So you think it was brought back after a 6 year DEI hiatus for only 3 games? Not sure why you would call the opponent gatorbait when they are beating us. Why don't you email the band director and ask for yourself?

Okay I guess.

So you're gullible and naive? I don't care what anyone says at a press conference. Do you belive Politicians giving press conferences? You think every word out of Stricklin's mouth is true? Ive given UF a substantial amount if $ over the last 20 years. In season tickets and tuition(twice) Then I hear a starting LB who receives an estimated $350 to $500k in NIL tell everyone "it's not the end of the world, it's only 2 losses " and I'm supposed to be ok with that? The fans and boosters are giving UF more money than ever before. And for a decade now it's been wasted on mediocrity and incompetence. If the effort level on the field was remotely what it should be. I wouldn't be saying any of this. The defense quits after a hint of adversity. Go watch the tape of those two long Mizzou runs last week.

I get it and I don't blame you. I'm a 90s Gator so I got spoiled on games being over at halftime.

I've had some of the same concerns. But when I watch Sumrall's pressers he deals with things very directly including a lot of the concerns you bring up about the administration, mental toughness, etc.

I'd really encourage you to watch his Monday presser if you haven't. If you have and still feel that way, so be it.

I believe he was told to tone down the F bombs in the locker room after the Auburn win. I was told by someone who would know. No one has to believe me. I know dumb shite is posted online daily.

Stricklin's delicate Southern sensibilities were offended. As well as one major booster.

At the end of the day, the players do not like playing for Brad White's defensive scheme. The defensive staff is frustrated with the players not buying in. A lot of fall out is to expected in december with the transfer portal. I just don't know how Sumrall is going to recruit an entire defense. That's asking a lot and something we haven't seen in the NIL era for our program. A lot of financial resources will be needed in order to make it happen

This post should be a separate thread on the board. It really hammers the point of these past 2 weeks. Agreed with everything you said.

Do you have anything to back up this statement or is it just your opinion?

Missing 23 tackles against USC isn’t a scheme problem nor is completely blowing assignments.

You'll see when the transfer portal opens and how many want to leave. Besides Hanks and Graham staying because they're legacy, the rest will think about leaving if there's a better team to play for.
