Napier has shown he is a top recruiter and isnt lazy about it. He is doing quality work without ever playing a game and I feel next will be even better as he and staff get to make relationships.

15 4* so far, not bad.
For some perspective, Mullen had:
2018 - 13 (6 from FL)
2019 - 17 (6 from FL)
2020 - 17 (8 from FL)
What’s the difference? People say blue chips, but I do t even know what that means.

I think blue chip are 4 and 5 star players only

I still don’t know what that means.

I just know blue chip ratio is the number of 4 and 5 star players on your team. The higher the ratio, the more likely you are to make the playoffs.
Compared to those rated 3 stars and below.

On3 prediction has Kelby Collins almost 50/50. It was like a 100% Bama couple days ago.
If we actually pull him and then Kamran James tomorrow ill be happy as hell.
He commits in a hour and half at noon fyi
Oh shite its now 60/30 Fla.

Hey it looks like Napier can recruit.

If I understand blue chips now, we’re sitting at 88%.

Napier doing work @ IMG
I think he has gotten more guys from there then the last 3 coaches combined.
We need a coach that could spend more time there and get those guys that have long spurned UF for Bama and UGA and Clempson.
Hopefully the good recruiting news keeps coming. This season could really catapult us to a top 3 class next year and possibly a top 5 to 7 this year.
I know there is a long way to go but the momentum this staff has is really promising.

If he coaches as good as he recruits, we’re going to be building something impressive in Gainesville

Hearing rumblings on various message boards that Perkins is not too happy at LSU. Could be an interesting situation to keep an eye on if true.

There is still room in the inn, but hurry cause Blue Chip Billy may hang the no vacancy sign soon.

I am pretty happy with Napier's recruiting thus far. Whatever adjustments that he needed to make after a rocky start seem to have been made.
In particular, I am very happy with the DL recruiting. Reminds me a bit of Clemson back in 2013-14. I knew they were going to make some noise sooner or later when they started to pull in highly regarded and recruited linemen. And while Watson/Lawrence and those amazing WR's they had get almost all the accolades, they key to their championship teams, imo, were their dominant D-Linemen.
On that note, I am a bit concerned about the OL recruiting for this class. Not panicking about it yet, but, unless I'm missing something (been on the road for work past month or so and haven't kept up with every update), it seems to be a gap in the moment.
I like the idea of the 2 OL system, and am confident that Sale or Stapelton by themselves would be a great improvement over Dumbarse Dan's Obese Butt Buddy Hev, but have not been impressed with the OL recruiting thus far.
Again, it's too early to get too worried about it, but it's something I'm going to keep an eye on as we get closer to ESD.

Florida Gators 2023 wide receiver commit and Miami (Fla.) Northwestern product Andy Jean took the field for the final season-opener of his high school career on Saturday night, enjoying a productive showing as a part of the Bulls' 42-24 preseason victory over Orlando (Fla.) Jones.
You can watch highlights of Jean's performance, including receptions, routes and run blocking, in the featured video above.
Jean, 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, primarily served as an outside receiver in Northwestern's offense and also manned a couple of special teams roles throughout the contest. The Bulls utilized a fierce rushing attack which allowed Jean to complement the ground game, mainly targeted on short routes including various screen concepts in which he broke off for yards after the catch.
His biggest play of the night was the result of a scramble drill. Jean opened the play by running a curl route before shifting inside while quarterback Taron Dickens was under pressure, signaling that he was open before catching a pass, spinning around and getting into the open field for a big gain.
Jean had an opportunity to make an even bigger play in which he likely would have scored a touchdown, soundly beating the opposing cornerback on a post route in the first half. However, the pass was significantly misplaced by Dickens, forcing Jean off his angle into the wide-open left side of the endzone and back into traffic with the trailing corner who went on to intercept the throw.
Jean was able to create separation on a second post route in which he wasn't targeted, as well as on several shorter routes. He also routinely pitched in as a blocker to enhance Northwestern's rushing game, providing great effort on such plays from the first through final whistles.
Official stats were not provided for the Legacy Classic, but AllGators observed Jean haul in at least five receptions throughout the evening, and we were able to record four of them.
