21/27 C/A
209 yards
2 TDs
0 INTs

15/144 Carries/Yards

it was Tennessee, but it was still a good SEC team. Hope he can bring it to Lexington next week.

When Emory takes what the defense gives him he’s pretty good. It’s when he starts forcing things that he throws picks and gets us into trouble.

I’m good with starting E5, but I like being able to rotate AR15 into the game when needed.

i could tell that he wasn't afraid to run in the second half. i liked that. if it's not there, take off. that simple. don't force it. i liked that he took the flat more often in this game as well.

Still can't throw the ball very far. It doesn't look like they're even comfortable trying. Oh well I cant do anything about it so frick it.

I liked the way he seemed to manage the game today. I hope he continues to learn the offense and make smart decisions.

I feel Mullen is making a game plan that is within E5's skillset. The O-line and receivers are doing their jobs. Another big test with Kentucky coming up. A road game that will tell a lot about how the team is progressing.

Agree. We got going in the 2nd half and did what we needed to do. Emory can run the offense even though he isn’t an elite passer.

Florida has already uploaded the highlights with Mick calling the plays.

eta: there were a decent amount of downfield passes.

I think he plays more loose knowing AR isn’t breathing down his neck.

Yes EJ5 played well tonight.

He really never tried to force anything and let the game come to him got what the defense gave him and in the second half opened it up and started going down field.

What really gets me is these slow starts its almost as if they are just running through the motions in the first half and then turn it up a notch in the second half.

If this keeps happening it will get us in a bad situation against a team we should take take care of fairly easy and against LSU & UGA if they don't come out and play complete games that will be losses for sure. It needs to start this week in Kentucky this game has been very tough the last few years.

If Copeland doesn’t fumble, it’s 24-14.

If Kingsley doesn’t tweak his ankle in the 2nd Q, Mullen likely goes for 4th and 1.

That game easily could’ve been way more on the scoreboard for UF, and even if UTk catches the wide open pass in the 3rd Q, and hits the FG, it’s like a 45-24 or a 48-24 final.

I think the offense is probing in the first half, trying to figure out what the opposing defense is doing, which can be a bit frustrating.

I think if Mullen came out firing and aggressive right away, that has the potential for a bigger offensive performance, but with also potentially more mistakes - take your pick I guess.

I’m glad we don’t play ole miss this year. Corral would pick our secondary apart.

I believe the last 7 qtrs of football are what most of us envisioned the offense being with EJ as QB.
A good mix of him throwing to open wrs due to our run game n play action and him running when teams play coverage

What a difference some confidence makes. He just looks a lot more decisive and comfortable. Hopefully whenever AR returns, he doesn’t get rattled again.

I don’t understand how we have no deep passing threat when we’re such a dangerous running team. Perhaps EJ just doesn’t have the arm for it.

I think he can go deep, just a confidence thing right now.

We’ve had plenty of balance the last two weeks. Don’t have to bomb it 50 yards to take advantage of running game.

Agreed, It's fun to see the long bomb connect, but for now I'm happy with the 8-10 yarders over the middle to keep the ball moving.

he completed quite a few of these. i'm hoping dan has told him to take the easy throw and it appeared he might've listened seeing as to how i didn't see him try to force to much like he has done the first 3 games.
