Refs didn't caused that

Actually they kind of did. Shot-clock violation that was utter nonsense, foul on Allen that was trying to stop the clock (i.e., a deliberate foul) that they called as a travel on us and of course the hockey check they missed at half court when we were going for one more shot.

Refs certainly caused overtime, and I think it'd be dishonest to say they played no hand in Georgia's winning, heck, let's just say no hand in Georgia being in the game. We had led by 9 points, and magically, out of no where, we have 3 off the ball offensive fouls. Then we go up by seven.

For me, why watch basketball if terrible officiating is part of the sport?

The refs probably caused us to miss all those free throws in the beginning of OT too...

The point is there wouldn't be a goddamn overtime if not for some incredibly bad calls -- both missed and called. The shot-clock violation, the travel, the missed foul at the end, the numerous offensive fouls off of the ball that no one saw.

Up 7 with a minute and a half left with three atrocious calls that kept Georgia in the game is the problem. A 7 - 10 point win is good, and it's not our fault that the refs suddenly turned the tide.

Our problem is that our players don’t have much talent or White sucks as a coach . Seems like we never take advantage of miss matches on offense . White needs to fix favorable matches or make them if he needs to and take advantage. We seem to get owned down low but rarely made the other teams bigger guys cover our shooters one one .

White is starting to get the Mac feel. Not overly great recruiting, and can't create mismatches or game plan. I'm kind of wondering if he is the coach for the future here. Team just doesn't look good, often. Verse far less talented teams.

How do you lose leads like this? Double digit lead and the team went into the shitter. This team is so spastic and inconsistent, you don't know what to expect. White needs to find a way to turn this abortion around.

They just don't care, man. It's time to get some fresh faces and new blood in -- although our best guys are injured, it's just time to get some guys who actually give a frick and care about losing.

White needs to be coaching some where else next year . Why we have our PG the smallest guys on the court who is having a bad day post up to start multiple positions at the end of the game . Our biggest problem is coaching. There is nothing this team does good .

We cant hold a lead worth a drunk romp anymore. And don't blame the refs Straws...its on us. Cant buy a basket in the last 4 minutes of most games lately and let perimeter guys shoot lights out against us. LaChance and Roberson just scored at will.

He was trying to get the 5th foul on the little kid on Vandy. That stupidity really slowed down the offense. Then that little kid got hot as a result. I couldn't believe how many wide open 3 looks they got. It was like they were playing 5 to our 4. WTH kind of defense were we playing?

The big play was when we had a 3 on 1 fast break and Hudson missed that layup. That was the killer.

This team needs an infusion of confidence. Not sure I can remember a team that is more in their head then this one. Even the very simple things can be tasking for these guys right now.

Hudson needs to be benched until he learns defense. He abandoned his man to leave wide open 3s on us way too many times.

This is an ugly game, too. Tennessee is playing like absolute dogshit and still taking it to us.

LOL I was thinking the same thing. We should be taking them to the woodshed but it’s time to face reality that this team is just not good.

Is there any update on if Egbunu will play at all this year? I feel like he would give this a team some confidence down low and turn this thing around

Turn this around? Unless we hire a new coach...this team is shot. White has become baffled and clueless on what he is doing and is getting out coached every single game now.

As disappointed as I am with the season, talk about coaching change is pure insanity. We did go to the elite eight last year. I know a few bullgators and none of them would consider a change at all. White got handcuffed from the getgo with the injuries and then I think the locker room went south.

White should get two years to turn everything around and he will probably get it. He will have to wipe the slate clean and start over basically. Players have to play as a team and stop selfish habits. We played well early in the season and passed the ball around...that hasn't happened as much in the last half of the season.

Once cancer develops in the locker room it can spread and get out of control.

I don't think last night was a result of bad coaching, we couldn't hit a shot to save our life. Put the ball in the hoop - it's a simple concept but a real challenge for us. We were getting some incredible looks all night and Chiozza was doing a great job setting guys up. The guys have to execute.

35% from the field, 25% from the 3 point line and 56% from the FT line. And that in a game we lost be 5 points. They make their shots, we win.

Yep, the only real difference from the beginning of the season was that we made the shots that we're now missing. I think it'd be a little easier for us, as fans, if they at least tried a little harder. Watching them shuffle around, not get back to play defense (that slam behind our lines was a t r o c i o u s) and just look completely uninspired leaves a seriously bad taste in the mouths of fans.

And Mike White isn't going anywhere.
