Of course our recruits are at the game watching us eat dick on the basketball court against a FOOTBALL SCHOOL. The Basketball team is more frustrating than the football team because we can beat good teams and get our shite run by mediocre teams.

Nothing like an 18 point home loss. Is it time we start questioning Mike White or is Egbunu really that much of a factor?

It's not just Egbunu. Johnson was expected to be a contributor. Gak was much improved but has his own injury problems and hasn't been able to practice for a couple of months. The interior is just a mess right now. We pretty much have to rely on jump shooting, if they don't fall we don't win.

That's not to say White doesn't have to improve, he certainly does as well, but he's recruiting well with 3 of 4 class in top 20 and has the Elite 8 in his back pocket. Will be interesting to see what happens when the team is made up guys he thinks fit his system.

It's also Stokes, we're just flat out missing all of our interior presence pieces. Johnson, Egbunu, Stokes, but only two of them are actually heavy that can defend.

Gak is just...he's just so clumsy, man.

He is, but early in the year you could see his gains. He is much improved this year. Would have been a good role player on this team with the other guys healthy.

I think it’s crazy that the team can’t even practice 5 on5 without trainers playing as walk ons. There’s no way to get any rhythm established when key players have to come out. It explains a lot about why the team looks so disorganized at times.

On what coming into the season was a deep team with a full complement of 13 scholarship players. It's a tough thing for any coach to deal with.

As I have stated before...you win with the guards or lose with the guards if you don't hit the threes. It is so damn frustrating when the shooting goes cold. It happens to a lot of teams..but since we are a team playing guards to win, it hurts.

Will be tough going forward when we don't have experienced elite guards to rely on, so we better hope White has a few recruited that can play lights out and that we have an inside game to go with it...one that can rebound.

This is a really good recruiting he has coming in, with 3 top 100 guys. Andrew Nembhard is a special talent, and perfect for White's system.

It is hard to redshirt very good talent these days since they will just up and leave early. We need our bigs back next year and even Hays who is bad at times....can block shots as his forte.

Hard to see such disarray on our team and nothing you can do but watch.

Our guards need to do a better job of taking the ball to the basket . Allen , Stone and Hudson seem to have the talent and size to take the ball to the basket but they take way to many fade away 15 foot jump shots .

I agree, we also need to finish when we are there. The team in general struggles to convert around the rim. So many points left on the court between missed dunks, layups and the little 2-3 ft shots.

It was a good win though on a night we had to have. It was nice to see them show some emotion.

Another great performance today vs. South Carolina. Defense stepped it up and played with a lot of energy.

I think its obvious that Mike White has lit a fire under our teams azzes. They had the energy start to finish and had payback for a couple weeks ago.

I betcha Frank Martin must've drank 2 bottles of acid relief at halftime.

Held Silva to 10 points.....yazzza.

I really want us to club AU to a pulp and shut their yaps on the Rant.

Yes the refs were bad but they didn't fumble easy alley oops or shoot 17 footers only went 16 feet. What a disjointed fricking mess this BB team is.

As soon as it looks as they may be rounding into form again, they come out lethargic and lay an egg. They are all nice guys and have a lot of talent, but don't know if they have that necessary killer instinct. There's no fire.

The refs were definitely bad in the game and UGA had some luck on their side as well with the last 3 three-pointers, but even with all that we should have won the game with simple execution like you said. Hudson had a very rough night, Chiozza really wasn't much better.
