They team got hit in the mouth in first. But the effort was there. Gator D shut them down in the second half. Refs XP and Emory int cost us.

Hopefully the team can move past this quickly. And dont let this Bama loss get them beat next week. After the game today we should beat the hell out of Tennessee.

Yep. everyone take your moral victory while Bama is gifted another W.

That's all anyone remembers. It's been this way in this conference for 30 years.

Those penalties on 3rd down were egregious

Terrible and costly penalties. I hated to see it. Being at the game you miss some things. A couple of times I was left wondering how Bama had the ball and a 1st down.

That part sucked.

I am no crazed lsu fan thinking there is an sec Alabama officiating conspiracy but a few of those PI calls tonight were criminal.

One of those cost us the game IMO.

Moral victories are just that. A losers silver lining for taking an L.

Of all the concerns I had for this game, our ability to kick an XP was not one of them, especially after all the great kickers we’ve had.

That said, several of those PI calls were weak. But…SEC Refs gonna SEC Ref.

Ain’t no moral victories.

I nearly turned this shite off after the 1st quarter too.

I will say they fought their asses off today.

And the refs can go frick themselves.

It's every year with these bush league refs deciding games. Something needs to change.

I understand there were some bad calls. 2 and a no call on bama's second TD on the RB MCCLELLAN grabbing and pulling on diabate's face mask running out of bounds.

But at the end of the day the very slow start and the interception Emory threw was just that put us down 21-3 against Alabama that is something that just can not happen. Hopefully this will propel us into playing better in the 1st quarter and also the rest of the way. I really want this team to go to baton rouge and destroy LSWHO. So we will see what they do against Tenner next week then travel Kentucky.

We were so close. If Cox catches that ball that drive is over and they don’t score. No missed xp that game is tied. It is what it is. We fought a battle and someone had to lose. Sadly it was us again. But I think we can play anyone in the country right now and have a good chance.

Hopefully this team has the moxie to get a chance at revenge in ATL.

It won’t be easy, but it’s there for the taking.

I think if AR15 was healthy and got about 10-14 plays its a different outcome.

We had our chances without him.. Just missed em

I agree dbuchanon. Because normally AR would be in on the 3rd series which was the series Emory threw the pick.

Also the no call delay of game where they let Saban call a TO after the flag was already on the ground.

I'm not sure how much yall paid attention around the league, but we weren't the only game that had poor officiating. The PennState/Auburn game they missed a down completely and PSU punted on 3rd

The slow start was another of the 3 main reasons why we lost. I don't know if it was stage fright or just not being ready to play but you can't spot the #1 team in the nation 18 points and expect to win.

It can be a great benchmark for the guys if Mullen uses it correctly. Think back to '06 when we were told all year we were a pile of crap . . .

The refs didn't help us but Bama had a couple drops that could have changed the outcome too. Factor in the crowd, and it feels like our team is right up there with an incredibly talented team.

If the coaches can turn this into a chip on their shoulder, this team could run the table.

You have to like the toughness they showed. Not many teams take a shot like that and come back. The grittiness reminds me a lot of the '06 squad.
