Up vote for yes, down vote for no.
Just wondering if anyone else sense it. No hate though...very well played. Keep telling us how amazing FSU's staff is while doubting a substantially more proven staff at UF with a coach who's been far more impressive. We all love the laughs.

Honestly, I think he is a Gator fan -- but I also think he's obsessed with conflict. Florida State fans aren't happy with the majority of their hires but TJ is here talking them up. Most FSU fans are kind of scratching their heads at the lack of real experience on the field. I mean, their OC is the OC from Maryland.
He could very easily have just came out and said: ''Gee, Taggart is in way over his head and his hires are kind of pathetic'', and most FSU fans would agree with him -- but his big problem is he can't admit fault. I always say I got McElwain wrong, I thought he would have given a little more heart but he was obviously just an uninspired mess who couldn't avoid controversy.
But TJ will defend rival coaches until the day he dies -- Harbaugh (lol), Jimbo Fisher (lol), Taggart and Kirby. Only one of those coaches had a good year last year and he shite his pants on the biggest stage of them all.
Not an FSU fan, but clearly has some serious insecurity.

It's not just on this subject, TJ has a history of seeing the negative side of everything about the Gators and loudly communicating it across the board. A large % of the posts on the Gator board are in response to his negaGator opinions. This was the reason he was banned before and I havn't seen any improvement since he returned, but having him on the board is not as bad as allowing trolling fans from UG, UT, FSucks on this board. This board should be for Gator fans to talk Gator football with other Gators. I could care less to hear their spin on anything about the Gators on this board. If I want to talk shite and hear shite about the Gators, I go the SEC Rant board.

Wrong.
He was banned because he wished that a Mexican cartel would cut off Straws head.
DMB is not going to ban UF posters for their opinions.

There is a shite ton of other forums for that. What makes the Gator board here unique is that we can talk about Gator football and other sports with opinions from other schools without the trolling and asswipes on SECr.

TJGator seems to be a well informed person

Well pardon me, our mistake was letting him back in, but I can tolerate that and shoot his BS down whenever I feel like it, but allowing the fans of other teams on the Gator board to troll us is ridiculous. Try doing that on other team boards, or just try to get on other team's boards.

Then DMB bans them and they are gone.

What do you think of the staff Taggart put together?

I like getting younger and getting some big recruiters in. Hampton is the one I have no clue about.

Besides Haggins who is the big recruiters. Anybody as good as Brewster.
What is up with the
FSU staff directory not being updated?
That is details that got missed by Muschamp and crew.

Woodie, Pimpleton, Lockette, and Kelly are the big recruiters. They should be as solid as Brew.

That site has always been slow. It took forever in 2010 and 2013 to list new assistant coaches.

so now we have FSUcks fans chiming in on the Gator board. Why don't you go to the FSUcks board on tSEC rant forum page. Oh that's right, FSUcks was afraid to join the SEC when they had a chance so the don't have a board.

That stings

I think that’s a pretty naive way of looking at your staff. None of them are as proven as Brewster when it comes to recruiting, none. Also, the staff is severely lacking in D1 coaching experience. The amount of big name guys that turned Taggart down is extensive, which tells me he probably isn’t that well thought of within coaching circle. He needs to stabilize himself and the staff he has, that will likely change his perception. Just my .02.

Go through all the names outside of Leavitt and Locksley. Oregon overpaid to keep Leavitt and Locksley is now the OC at Bama.
I think FSU would have been in a world of hurt had Jimbo stayed. I'm happy with the staff

Just out of curiosity, you don't think the staff is underwhelming? Not even a little? Most other FSU fans don't seem very pleased.

I understand what you are saying, but only time will tell. Replacing a NC winning HC with a career .500 guy and a group of assistants with less than 20yrs at the D1 level isn’t ideal iyam. I don’t love Florida’s staff either, but it’s greatly improved over the prior staff, I would say at nearly every position.

I'm fine with it. I'm not gonna celebrate or be pissed about it. We'll have to see how it plays out.

The recruiting landscape is a lot different than it was just 2 or 3 years ago.
UGA is all in now. It's hard not seeing them as a consistent playoff type team with studs they are getting.
Miami is getting more talent to stay home under Richt. I'm not sure how long it can last though.
