This game was lost before it started. Sitting a healthy Pitts sent the wrong message to the team that this game didn't matter, now that we lost it does all of a sudden? It mattered, and it should've been treated that way. Marco fk'd us, but its on Dan

If Dan doesn't make staff changes this offseason, it will be hard to get excited for next yr

I will be as excited for next year as I was for this year. I am not going to let this game negatively affect all the great times I had watching the Gators this season. I am still a Mullen supporter. I don't like our discipline or lack of it, rather. But we haven't been a really disciplined team since Charley Pell left. Spurrier's teams were always the most penalized in the conference. Meyer's too.

This is my last post on UF for the day... because I'm still fuming.

But there is a severe issue with Mullen if he doesn't let Grantham go.

Same.

Swagger is fine.

But you have to actually be good to have swagger. Like when you return an interception for a touchdown and punt the ball into the stands because the game is practically over, cool.

Throwing a shoe on 4th and long, a dead ball penalty to give the other team a first down?

Yikes.

No matter what Wilson does, even when he's good, he finds a way to give the other team a first down.

I could expect this (not accepting it) from a freshman in their first big time game, but not an upperclassman like Wilson. Why Mullen didn’t grab him by the face mask and chew his arse, then bench him I’ll never know. I sincerely hope his team mates and even coaching staff make it very clear that he single handedly cost us that game.

I think he was benched. That'll teach him!

The whole team lost us that game yesterday. We had no business letting LSU stay in it. I blame the entire defense. Not knowing where to line up all season is bull shite. The only silver lining of that is it could be a sign that Grantham is mailing it for the season.

I know it's not going to happen, but Hevesy needs to go too. Our O line is soft. And has underperformed for 3 seasons now.
When you have a coach who makes excuses and says he has confidence in obviously bad coaches, you have no accountability. Let's all be honest here. Marco Wilson should have never been on that field to begin with. He's done nothing but regress since his freshman year. And Jean Delance, why? There are no more excuses.

On order of changes likely to happen, Hevesy getting canned is far down the list. He is Mullen's boy.

I agree that the OL is soft.

We all know that. And a coach like Mullen who will protect bad coaches and keep them on staff, is never going to compete with a guy like Saban. And unfortunately for UF to win any kind of championship, Sec or National, you're going to have to beat Saban.

That’s been the biggest mystery for me.

Before you take a jab at McPherson, he was in a tie or lose situation. LSU's kicker was in a win or tie situation. Also McPherson has led the league in FG% the last 2 years. A 50 yd FG miss isn't a gimme by any means, especially from the right hash.

For him to not get some scrutiny in the loss is wrong. His counter part made a 57 yd fg. Is it too much to ask the kicker that has led the league in fg% the last two years to make a clutch kick? Bottom line, He choked! I like him, has been a great kicker but when needed Saturday night, he choked. Again plenty of blame to be spread for the loss but he shouldn't get a pass.

i agree if he can make it, then it should be expected for him to make it. but missing the kick isn't what lost this game. it was poor defensive play along with poor OL play.

I agree completely, lots of blame for this loss, starting at the head coach but a lot of gator fans wanted to blame Marco Wilson without saying a word about McPherson, or the defense or the O-line or the other factors.

marco's stupidity cost us the game more so than mcpherson's missed kick.

marco's stunt was a discipline issue.

the missed kick was just bad luck and a miscalculation by mcpherson.

Enough blame sandwiches to go around to feed the whole team...other than Toney...who else gave up everything to win?

other than the 3 turnovers, trask had a pretty good-to-great game. 450+ passing yards and 4 TDs.

I only blame Trask completely for 1 of those 3 turnovers.
