I trust Mullen to find the right guy. UF DCs come in and get promoted. Job sells itself.

Imo this is a money grab by Grantham's agent

Boo. To me, seeing how there hasn't been any real noise coming out from the Administration means it's a done deal. Mullen and Stricklin probably started searching for a new guy the second Todd Grantham was mentioned.

Other team’s fans have told us since last December that Grantham was terrible. This must be their worst nightmare.

So Oklahoma is looking for a DC, UGA is (I guess) still looking. We'll be paying top dollar. Hope they have some A+ candidates queued up so we can hire them ASAP.

Wonder if someone like Brian Jean-Mary (Charlie Strong's right hand man - LB focused) is on the radar. T-Rob (DB focused) is making 1.2M at USC, does he come back for 1.5?

Would we promote from within?

Doubtful. English is the only one with DC experience.

Hell, drop a bank on Greg Mattison and bring him back from OSU.

I don't care if Grantham stays or goes at this point. I just want staff consistency for more than one fricking year. I hope he stays because I like his playcalling style but if this dude is gone, hire somebody that will stay longer than two seasons.

We landed Bogle over Alabama in part to their high turnover. I know Mullen is here for the long haul but I don't want him having to rinse, wash, and repeat with coaches that use Florida as a platform to bail after 1-2 seasons with the program.

Exactly. Our Defensive coaches always seem to get raided. And does expect Gray to stay long term? He's already left once before.

Apparently he's back at work today, but most people seem to think he's gone.

I was really enjoying the 3 - 4, too.

That should be good news then, right? Why keep on if you have accepted the job? Or, is Mullen making him face the music and tell the players that he's out?

I'm not sure what to make for it.

Remember, Warren was on an in-house visit with Kaiir two days before he left for Georgia.

It's just something we have to wait on, he could have accepted the job and just be coming back to let Mullen hire someone else.

I doubt we leave the 3-4. We recruited for it so leaving it wouldn't make sense.

Seeing Graham Hall reporting that TG is staying put. This guy trusted? I'd like to go to bed tonight.
