I'll probably do another after fall camp (here's hoping no major injuries occur before, during, or after that like they seem to have done every year!)

Charleston Southern W
Kentucky W
CO State W
@ Tennessee W
@ MSST L
LSU W
@ Vandy W
UGA L (Hopefully we won't be as close to being shutout)
Mizzou W
South Carolina L
Idaho W
@ The School Out West L

I'd say we split MSST/Tenn and Mizzou/SC---but have the possbility of going anywhere from 1-3 to 4-0 against all four.

I want to predict a win against the team from Talltrashy ever so badly, but until they actually show me they can win, I won't and can't predict it.

Thoughts?

I think we are going to see a ton of improvement, but still finish 9-3. Very similar to Meyer's first season.

If I had to guess game by game right now I'd go:
C. Southern - W
U. Kentucky - W
Colorado St - W
@ Tennessee - W
@ Miss. Sta - L
Louisiana St- W
@ Vanderbilt- W
U. Georgia - L
U. Missouri - W
S. Carolina - W
U. of Idaho - W
@ Florida St- L

This is what I have, but with a loss to Georgia and MSST.

Outside of that saying 4 losses is almost as good as saying 12 wins, because it all depends on what our QB is doing. If we have solid QB play, we're going to destroy the East and FSU. However, if we have bad QB play we're going to lose a lot more than we should.

Watching the Spring Game, it was obvious that our defense is a lot better than our offense. Hopefully we have our QBs ready by August. (Jones and Trask)

Why are all of you predicting a loss to MSU? Are they that good?

I don't get all the love for Mo State. We typically lose to them and Ole Miss when we overlook them. Coach Mullen will not allow that to happen on his first trip back to Starkville, this game is a win, book it!

MSU is really flocking hard to play @MSU. It's just a different type of monster. I think we have better players, but I don't think our QBs will be ready to handle that type of volume.

If it were at Florida, I think we would absolutely destroy them if only because I don't think their defense can match our receivers and running backs. On the road though? I have severe doubts. If we beat them, we have a chance to beat everyone on the schedule.

This................with good QB play an a solid defense. we can beat anybody on the schedule. Even the mighty ankle biting, butt licking, leg humpers.

IF we're going to beat Georgia, we need good QB play and for Kirby to not turnover his talent. If he does, we're gonna have a long decade. However, I also think Georgia fans are downplaying just how difficult it is to lose:

Starting safety, a starting CB, starting NB, all four starting linebackers, a redshirt senior NT -- and I mean, it's not like their defense was impressive against teams with claws last year with all of that experience.

Then you move on to Michel and Chubb and Georgia fans sound exactly like LSU fans losing Fournette. "Ah the second guy behind them might even be BETTER", "we have more good running backs, we won't have a dropoff". Their best WR, their best blocking TE, their FB, both Left Tackles and we'll see.

We literally have to see how well Kirby can manage his roster, how well his backups are coached. I don't like our chances though, unless he proves to be a bad coach.

Spurrier lost to Miss St on the road twice 1992 & 1999 or2000 I forget, and both times it wasn't pretty.

We return five of our top ten tacklers on defense so not all is lost. We will be extremely talented and fast on defense but we are young and we go on the road early to South Carolina and Mizzou. Those established quarterbacks make me nervous early in the season. Hopefully we can out-talent them. I think our defense will establish themselves by the back half of the season.

You might have a point at the other positions but we stack talent at the running back position. The same way y’all do at defensive back.

It's not really a good place for anyone to go play in.

Their away losses: 13 - 80

Their home losses: 52 - 62. (Against Alabama and broken Fitzgerald).

Their wins at home are all over two possessions including a 4 possession win over LSU. Like I said, if we can beat MSU @MSU, we can hang with anyone.

Well lets hope we can take care of business. This will be the game that I get to go to this year. Hope we can "pull the upset"

If by some miracle Trask or Franks is ready by that game, we have more than a chance. We really, really just need one of them to step up and help move the chains to unleash our extremely deep backfield.

Has there ever been a backfield at Florida as deep? Scarlett, Davis, Lemons, Pierce, Clement (looking better every practice) and Perine? Then the playmakers at WR (if cleared to play), special things could happen with the offense if we just got someone who protects the ball and is accurate within 25 yards.

Loaded backfield? Straw we had FOUR first round NFL picks in our backfield from 1982-85, James Jones played for Detroit Lions for years, Lorenzo Hampton suffered career ending injury with Miami, Neal Anderson took over for Walter Payton at Chicago for years and my favorite one, John L. Williams played RB/FB and was a prolific receiver and could make one handed snags...played for years at Seattle and would have been a household name with a better team. Kerwin Bell was the QB and we were lethal.

There must be a board on tRant to discuss UG football, if you look for it? No one on this board gives a flying frick about the leg humpers and how talented and great they are blah, blah, blah.................. The Gators are still gonna kick that arse in Jax this year.
