That's no where near his childhood, but I know I wasn't born yet nor do I care about things so far back.

True, but this group will have to get a lot better to come close to the guys that Reel was talking about, but they did also have an O line that was called "The great wall of Florida." Crawford Kerr, Lomas Brown, Phil Bromley, Jeff Zimmerman and Scott Trimble were probably the greatest O line in UF history.

This was what I was referring to in the other thread, too, Finch. These types of guys don't come here to talk Florida football, they come here to defend their program and it's just weird.

I’d love to talk Florida football but I got labeled a “troll” because I said that the 8-4 prediction was pretty accurate even though several people in this thread had the exact same prediction and a betting house had the O/U at 7.

i'm not sure if i speak for everyone when i say this, but i'm going to say it anyway.

we're a bit sour/sensitive due to our teams misfortune for the past 10 years. whether you're a georgia fan or vandy fan, we would probably react the same way.

just keep it civil is all i ask.

I am 62, my first UF game was Steve Spurrier's senior year, a 43-7 win over Northwestern. Since then I have been in attendance for over 100 games in Gainesville while living as far away as Michigan, as well as at least 30 away games and bowl games and 10 SEC championship games. I plan on buying season tickets again this year while living 12 hours from Gainesville. So I don't just pull for the Gators, I am a Gator.

No, you get labeled a troll because you post on the Gator fan board and you aren't a Gator fan.

Not my reason, I just hate UG, UT and FSUcks and don't like their fans posting on the Gator Sports board.

If we were not down, they wouldn't be here.

So you think a great remedy is to come here and talk Georgia football?

quote:

and a betting house had the O/U at 7.

Betting is to get play, not an accurate or even really close to an accurate prediction. For instance: Florida was predicted in 2015 to finish 5th in the East, and 4th the next year. Florida ended 1st in both 2015 and 2016.

Grab a napkin, homey. You just got served

quote:

I’m willing to make a ban bet with you right now that Kirby beats Florida again next year

quote:

Who? Me? That's hilarious. We've got a much better team than y'all and that's because of Kirby is a much better coach than butter teeth

quote:

...

You probably talk Gators football maybe 2% of the time, the majority of it is getting your knees dirty to service your shitty-pantsed coach.

Motion to have every Georgia poster put "I love Gators football so much that I post on their team's board" before every post, 3 strikes and they get banned. 1 for Thrill.

I second that motion but add, no big arse Grambling G allowed. I also pull for Jackson State and that Grambling G offends me.

Why are all of you predicting a loss to MSU? Are they that good?

No, I think looking at the game alone I would say we'd beat them. For me, it is just where the game falls on the schedule, being on the heels of our first road game against a rival. In Meyer's first year we were 1-3 in true road games. I think we are going to see a lot of parallels to that season.

Exactly. Home and neutral game we win pretty handily. He's going to know the weaknesses of their QB and offense in general, but the problem lies in how difficult it is to play at the place with cowbells.

I hope we can sneak out a victory, because as I said earlier: If we can beat MSU @MSU, we can hang with anyone. It may be our hardest game all season.

Losses @ MSU, LSU, Uga, @ fsu.

I see lots of close games on this schedule.

Still not understanding the MSU love.

The other 3 will be close games, i rank the difficulty in this order.

3) LSU
2) FSUcks
1) Butt sniffers

No way.

MSU is #1, going to be playing hard and angry at home with tons of noise. If we get Burrow, all bets are off.

#1 MSU.
#2 Georgia.
#3 LSU.
#4 FSU.

Leg humpers is the proper ug slur. Bulldogs are too short to sniff butts
