How do you make over a million dollars a year and give up 12/17 on third down? They also went 8/14 against us last year. Dude is overrated trash.

They were kinda holding, other than Z and Greenard we really have no push

Any QB will pick you apart with time in the pocket

Put the liquor away Chad and get sleep.

dbuch is right...dawgs OL is much better than ours and that is also mixed in with jersey grabbing. Fromm had all day to throw and Grantham tried every kind of blitz....but it usually cost us when it was picked up enough to allow Fromm time to throw. We held the dawgs run game in check for almost 3 quarters and forced Fromm to throw.

Offense was the culprit and we never made 3rd downs to keep defense off the field.

Can't go 12 - 18 on defense and blame the offense. Even if the offense goes 0 - 9, the defense had 18 chances to get off of the field.

Straws you never blamed the defense when Franks was QB. Not really once.

Our defense stuffed the dawg run game almost all game and held them to FGs when they score until worn out. We had something like 28 snaps on offense in the late 3rd qt. You cant win many games like that. Dawgs OL kept our defense away from Fromm, who was never sacked. No DC is going to look good when that happens.

Swift was averaging something like 2 yds a carry in the early 3rd qt. Defense needed help from offense which it never got. UGA knew we had to pass and couldn't run. If the defense really had played poorly we would have been down 3 TDs at halftime.

Yes, the defense laid eggs at times and the 56 yd TD throw was a back breaker. The defense was getting beat mentally and physically by then. You need the offense to do something to get juiced.

The offense cost us that game just as much as the defense did . Straws can say what ever he wants but this team will be lucky to finish as high as last years team.

It’s funny how Franks is blamed for us having no running game . But the running game is worse with out him . Trask can run and he can throw the deep ball. So Georgia slowed our offense down know Trask can only beat them with shot passes .

Next year the schedule is favorable so we need to take advantage and start a QB that allows us to run the ball .

Hopefully after yesterday anyone that thinks any of underclassmen are ready to go to the NFL are not saying this now Henderson and Wilson definitely needs to come back they are far from ready to be NFL corners the only person that even tried to show up in our defensive backfield yesterday was Shawn Davis.

Trey Dean is getting picked on and if I was an OC I would throw at him early and often he has digressed and not sure if he will ever be anything more then just a body on defense and gotta get on Brad Stewart he did not even try to do anything on basically the last play of the game 3rd and 7 and the tight end was wide open with Stewart getting there with both hands in the air after the caught it.

The players have to take responsibility on some of these plays Georgia's wide receivers had been at best mediocre and yesterday look like the best in the SEC players have to take blame for that not coaches

It isn't Grantham's fault that the right defense is called but guys like Marco cant tackle....who are we replacing him with? Burney got burned several times by RBs and TEs...who we replacing him with? The list goes on. 99% of the team put tremendous effort into the game...but as Top Billin said " we have to have Jesses and Joes.

Grantham's and Mullen's gameplan was to stop the run and force Fromm to beat us. Well...he did....but look at the score and our defense held them time after time when Fromm got no pressure. Not Grantham's fault that both Zuniga and Greenard were not 100% and with a seeing eye dog as a back judge some jersey grabbing was seen. As seems the norm...we get the flags that others don't.

Its simple to have kneejerk reaction and say fire this coach, fire that coach after a loss. It always happens. And usually some that are calling for heads don't understand what really happened in the game. But its an outlet for their anger. Trust me...I was sick for a while after the fiasco.

Our starting defense literally has like 4 4 star players.

Same with the OL, all 3s except when Gouriage is playing.

Change is coming. Ppl need to chill

Trey Dean is playing out of position.

Pretty sure everyone that has a clue about football knows this.

Put him safety (he can’t be any worse than what we are putting out there) or at outside DB where he played well last year.

Then move Marco to star and mix in Elam with that group.

I'm not on the "fire Grantham" train but there are several gruesome problems he needs to fix:

1. Stop playing soft zone.

I fricking hate it. All of it. Every time. I hate letting teams get easy passes. I would rather our DBs get put on islands and occasionally lose but get pressure every other down than just let a QB sit there and pick apart soft zone.

2. Recognize the limitations of your players.

There are several players on defense who are very obviously uncomfortable in their position and who are, frankly, not good enough to be having so much time in those respective positions.

At safety we have two clear starters and the guys they rotate with (a lot during the game) are clearly not good enough. Dean is a fantastic perimeter CB who obviously (anyone with eyes can see it) cannot get it done as an interior or Nickel DB. Too long, too much difficulty with the agility part, a lot of problems.

He's been stoned several games now, flat out picked on. Thrown on on so many downs.

Grantham needs to fix these glaring problems and fix them now. They've cost us two games.

Straws if you rewatch the tape...UGA allowed us to have dink and dunk passes. Without a run threat the dawgs packed in close and kept our WRs bottled up for most of the game.

We had no explosive plays...none. Dawgs have to get credit for shutting our offense down. We had so many miscues on offense, motion flags, WRs running wrong routes because play call signals were botched, 2 costly sacks, dropped passes, WR covered up and ineligible, short dinks and dunks.

Our defense really for the most part were in position to hold the dawgs pass game in check...but so many missed tackles that turned 5 yd completions into 12 yds. Coaches can only call plays...they cant execute them. Play tight man? That would have been a recipe for disaster with Fromm having enough time to read the morning paper. Dean was not playing well...Marco wasn't playing well, Burney had a forgettable day, etc etc. LB Ventral Miller was a bright ray of sunshine, ditto Slaton and Campbell on the DL.

Yeah, Let's panic like FSU and start firing everybody!!!

If we win the next 3 games that we will be favored in and should win, this team will be 10-2! Win a bowl and finish 11-2! How many UF teams in history have won 11 games in a season? Mullen and his staff are coaching their asses off to win games this year. We have lost to 2 top 10 teams with an inferior O line, lack of depth across the field and a with a back up QB. Stop the Negagator shite and support the team.

I'm not big on ban bets but I 'll bet you a 1 year ban from this board that we don't!

Frickin Negagators.

ban bets are dumb. I don't see how y'all can watch the product that was displayed last saturday and think that we're 100% gonna beat mizzou. considering we're 3-5 against them.

luckily we play vandy this week in lieu of mizzou because we'd probably get trounced like we did last year.

Where did I say that it was 100% that we would beat Mizzou? We should and probably will beat Mizzou.
You started this conversation with the statement that UF won't beat Mizzou, something like, "You heard is here first, BS."

And yes ban and sig bets are dumb but I am so tired of fair weather fans on this board jumping on the team and coaches at the first sign of something going wrong, that I am willing to risk it.

We hope change is coming.

But Mullen has to actually fire the Knox's and the English's and bring in the recruiters before that change happens.
