The Quarterback position in two blowouts vs. the last two games has averaged 110 yards and less than 50% of the passes completions. (Stats from before the 4th Quarter)

It’s spinning to fit a narrative to take 1/4 of the stats from the last two games out of the equation when you’re talking about any part of the game. Should Dameon Pierce’s yards be counted any less because he got them in the 4th quarter? Of course not. So there’s no reason to do it with Feleipe.

The reason we've had such ineffective offensive performance is for two things: Not having the ball very often, or having short fields, so this definitely takes effect.

Having short fields is not a demerit on Franks though. It’s a team effort in game. The defense has put him in positions to be successful. Why mark off on Feleipe because the defense did something good? And saying the offense has been ineffective is just false. We’ve averaged something like 8 yards per play the last two games. That’s awesome. We hit on 5 or 6 plays of more than 25 yards on the road in a rivalry game. Bad team or not, that’s awesome.

He's been doing that much better since last year, and especially better in the Tennessee game

There it is. Debate over. That’s what I’ve been arguing the whole time. Franks is BETTER than last year and it’s thanks to an outstanding job of coaching by Dan Mullen and an outstanding job of working hard to improve by Feleipe Franks. That’s the truth and there’s no reason for qualifiers or rebuttals. /end thread.
