Yikes.

You can simply like the better fit without saying Trask cant play. Stop acting like I said that, because i didnt.
Your comprehension skills fail you yet again.
To you this is all personal. To me its not. I simply stated my preference.
So, one more time from the cheap seats.. Please let me know when it clicks. Im fine with and will support whoever starts. I said Id like to see Jones because he fits the O

This thread is about 12 pages too long, needs to end.
Trask will be the UF QB next year unless he is injured or caught taking PIDs. (Frick you Will Grier!) He deserves the job, hopefully Jones will push him in the spring to become an even better QB.

Don't count out Richardson being the change of pace QB for 2020.
Edit: See new sig

My hot take is that Richardson is actually a lot better than Emory. Jones has looked, and I know this is going to sound harsh, but kind of undersized and average. I haven't seen any flashes from him and even wanted Matt Corral over him when Mullen first came in.
A big problem is that Emory just isn't that great of a passer. As a change of pace player, he's good enough, but I don't think he's good enough to take the offense over 100% yet because of his passing.
Richardson is going to be dangerous immediately though, same with Carlos Del Rio. Both of them make me very happy.

You can't bench a proven commodity to start someone who has no real experience and Mullen won't.
Tell that to Dabo and Saban . These 2 guys don’t seem to understand that you bench a proven average QB for a guy with more up side. Shouldn’t we be coping what the top coaches and programs do and not the underachievers like Georgia?

In what way is Trask average as a Quarterback? He's literally top ten in Total QBR and beat Fromm in every single passing category last year.
Our team wasn't average, either, it was a top ten team despite everything working against Trask up to and including:
Limited attention from his High School staff.
Limited attention from McElwain.
Limited attention from Mullen.
In a system not built for him.
Coming off ice cold from the bench. (7 years without being a starter.)
Limited help from the run game.
Limited help from the offensive line.
Limited reps with the 1s.
Maybe this is crazy but if he can be that successful with so many factors going against him maybe we should build the offense around him for one year and focus on the other offense when we actually have the numbers at Quarterback to run it?
Emory will literally only have one backup -- a true freshman who has zero years playing college if he were to start. Better to start Trask and rotate Emory in than run off Trask to start someone who has never started a game before.
And the problem is confusing the Trask/Franks situation with the Jones/Trask situation.
Franks was hot dogshit for most of his career, and even in the best of his times he failed to hit over 200 yards more times than not in the last five games of 2018. Trask has broken records.
Walking a Quarterback with that much success (and the success is hinged on him, it's not like the team was carrying him, quite the opposite) to start someone who has never started is peak stupidity.

Nah, it's really simple:
Are you stupid enough to risk an easy schedule with a Quarterback that is proven, has first team rep experience and turned our season around -- for a guy who has not started, has been shaky and has a fraction of the reps with defenses not being able to fully prepare for him?
I'll just leave it at that.

Jones is 1 point behind Trask in comp%, has never thrown a pick and Ive never seen him fumble 3 times in a game. You should've just stopped after the first team rep experience, that much is true.

You have to go back to MS to have any film on Trask, you don't think that helped him this season?
Ok, 4 pages.

See? You're retarded.
What was the score in the Kentucky game when Franks went down?

Had a whole qtr left too.
You act like we didnt lose 2 games with Trask.
“He turned our season around”
Uh, we all said this was a 2-3 loss season with Franks before he went down. So again, what did Trask do that was any different that was already expected? We won the games we were favored and lost the games we werent.
Again, he did a good job and won the games we were supposed to but you act like he shredded UGA for 400 yards
4 1/2 pages
